The site was originally a parking lot beside the Tamsui old street, connecting people with the Tamsui River. So I choose multiple function restaurant to become my program that providing a rest space next to the park. The first floor is the gallery connecting the line of sight and the circulation, up the small staircase along the church space, the second floor is the dining room, while serving dunch, and the third floor can offer artwork display and sketching, connecting the Tamsui Art Gallery on the opposite.

Light or Heavy in Concrete
Many things in our lives have the same essence, but looking through different angles, they present different feelings . Like the water have change of state, twins have different personalities and one coin has two sides. Look the original picture, it divide into two part, the material above is stone, but it looks as light as a balloon, and it takes a rope to tie up so that it doesn't drift away with the wind, and the material on the lower part is also stone, but like the stone you see in general, it has a heavy character. As the same material as stone, but the picture presents a completely different character, in strong contrast. It inspire me that the same essense thing can
become two different way of character. At first, it was difficult for me to choose that what kind of things have different qualities that can present different character, because materials, densities, weights, structures, etc. have such qualities.Until I observe that most of the buildings outside the window are in an unnatural state, the shell of concrete is too straight because of the artificial manufacture. But perhaps the building can exist in a more natural way. Can concrete become as organic as a plant, as light as clouds? So I choose the material of concrete to study all the factors that can affect the presentation of different characteristics of concrete.
The opening of the facade will face the different landmarks in the surrounding environment, the space has biggest opening faces to the ocean, the small one is faces to the old tree, and one of the openings can see through the path to the mountain.
7
Notation Of HETEROGENEITY Same essence , Different look
In this project, I tried to find factors that change the properties of matter.First, I study the weight, maybe it look like a stone, but it's hollow inside, when you enter this space from the outside, you can feel the shift in weight.
These openings of different thicknesses also affect the feeling of light, for example - open large holes on the thin walls, the light will be very direct, but on the thick walls, light will refract and scatter inside, and finally the light come out with very soft gloomy beam.
Then I focus on the thickness. I put walls or floors of different thicknesses together, and I opened holes of different sizes on them, and I found that some thick walls formed space in the interior because of the openings, thin walls formed space with the outside. Put these walls together, it could create surprises so you don't know if you are outside the walls or inside the walls.
The size of opening hole and density can also affect the feeling of space and light, I want to present concrete in a different way, it can be a structure or a space, it can be artificial or it can be organic, it can be a pavilion or a building.
8
I think it is a kind of criticism of extremely artificial things.

The Jianguo Brewery was founded in 1919, when Taipei city was urbanized by railways and factories , but with the transformation of the city's commercial and road networks, industry was lost and the underground railway semanty was more a symbol of the death of industry in the city. At the same time, the development of linear industrial belt with the decline of industry not only brings about the rise of surface temperature, but also the land pollution . The brewery also experienced two shutdowns during this period, with only sixty employees left.Jianguo Brewery is located at the intersection of industrial and commercial zones, and the close relationship between the Japanese and surrounding areas has widened the road with urban renewal, and the relationship with the surrounding community has been barrierd since the establishment of the Jianguo elevated road and the public road elevated road. Now that Jianguo Brewery is at least 7 meters away from the surrounding neighborhood, and the factory's walls block pedestrians on the sidewalk, it is difficult to
see the activity inside the plant, which also makes the brewery an unfriendly and large building in the area. With the departure of the brewery staff, the factory left a large number of machines, these machines themselves have a historical meaning and unique material, in the brewery's floor plan can also see that different machines in accordance with the beer process to place his position, can form a complete production line. But these machines are hidden behind the facades of the building, and it's hard to see the unique machineinside inside. Can we expience the machine with a new method?Through cross-sectional analysis, the machine hidden in the factory area is found. I chose the outdoor combi-tank and Mush Tun as my main design objectives, because both machines have special materials at the same time large enough to form their own space. Through interviews with employees, I translate their experience into design elements.

Grand Staircase The design of the grand staircase is not the beginning of thinking, but after the design of the Combi-tank and Mush Tun, hope to have a complete flow, at the same time can see the rear of the Combitank eyes through the grand staircase. For people on the sidewalk or
street, from afar can be vaguely seen activity inside the building, I hope to break the original cement boundaries, while brings greenbelt and plants into the brewery . It can also see the internal storage barrel through the opening of the facade.
"Combi-Tank" Restaurant The use of very high tank body for temperature convection , hot air will be discharged with the tank body upward, and the tree hole will cooling the air.the establishment of the roasted pig area is hoping to echo the story of the employees.Employees must have a chef's license during difficult times to ensure that jobs can be replaced at any time,

by converting this spirit into roasted pig, hoping to understand more about the hard time in the past.
"Tree" Observatory With a lightweight structure capped at the top of the Combi-Tank, widening the original walkway, so that people can more comfortably and safely see the entire plant, trees grow from the Combi-Tank, the canopy can block the sun, while becoming an Urban Stepping
Stones and landmark, hoping to create an environmentally friendly industrial green-belt in an artificial way.
Thematic Exhibition The thematic exhibition is located at the bottom of the Combi-Tank, this area built the wood floor on the old pipeline structure, using the height of the pipeline, can create a 40 cm height difference as the back of the seating area, while the combi-tank as a water storage area, the filtered clean water in the form of smoke sprayed out, to
provide a cooler feeling in the seating area. The exhibition color is mainly black and white, the pipeline painted black, the plank is white, while watching the exhibition can pay more attention to the original pipeline structure.

Mountain Wind
Valley Wind
In the sumida hokusai museum, I really felt the flow of the wind. on the cross route, one of the roads the wind is very strong, and the other is barely not any felt about it. It gives me a new understanding of the imagination of the wind.Modern people because of the high pace of living, busy work under great pressure, rarely have the opportunity to have a well rest, not to mention experience nature that getting outdoor, so modern people gradually lose the ability to perceive the environment, the sensitivity to the environment is also slowly degraded. But in fact, the ability to perceive the environment can effectively prevent people from getting sick, but it needs to be trained and felt for a long time. I want to design a five-senses-thrill that people can experience and feel the environment in a quiet place that far from the city. The route of Wind & Temperature

Notation Of PETRICHOR
Perceive the forces of the natural elements
Through the architecture to enhance people's perception of natural elements.Transform the five senses into a series of space experiences. There are two entrances. One is an entrance for people, and the other is an entrance for air. The air that enters at the entrance is cooled by a corridor that is connect to underground church. Concrete with pattern of charcoal was chosen for the walls of the corridor. There are groundwater in the underground church, support the water system in the hotels, the groundwater also can cooled down the air in the underground church, then the wind brings the cooleddown-wind to the entrance, accompanying the mist and moisture. Skid resistant brick are placed in the entrance of underground passage, because of the most and moisture air, it blocks people's sight, but strengthens the feelings of other senses.People can follow
the feeling of cool wind forward to the fork in the entrance to the hotel and underground church.I want people to feel the smell of surrounding plants in the hotel, mountain and valley breezes can bring the plant permeates into the hotel through the holes in the exterior walls of the building. I want people to be able to sleep can also enjoy phytocide. I want people to invisibly train the perception of the outside world. The hillside near Qingjing Farm has all the conditions that this building needs - high enough altitude to provide comfortable temperature, thick fog shrouded in sight, air is fresh. Located in Nantou belongs to Taiwan's only city without facing the sea that has the four seasons of good weather, suitable for people to live. While the hillside have mountain wind and valley wind, in these two different directions and temperature winds, creating more possibilities for buildings.
23
The main structure of the observatory is the corridor for air circulation.
The crop planting area is also the entrance to the observation deck, and the heat will emission along the path to the observatory.
The floor is raised so that fresh air can be released along the floor in the room.
24
The entrance to the hotel is a corridor with wind and moisture.A tiny glimmer imply the direction, feel the wet touch from the rockwall.Go forward through the sense of “tactile and hearing. The slope of the roof follows the slope of the mountain. When the mountain wind and the valley wind come and go, it drive the hot and cold cycle, the cold air descend along the floor and go out from the gaps of the room, and brings the smell of the season plants to feel surrounding environment.
Wells and places to sunbathes the crops.
Second floor lounge area and the openings that allow fresh air to enter.

The site is located in the small school with high and low terrain in Tamsui, in this place with rich historical feelings and culture, I hope to apply the experience as an art class student, to create a suitable museum not only for the creation and exhibition but feel the Tamsui in my heart. Extending the site of the terrain, I use different levels of elevation in the building, students and visitors can follow the moving line to see different heights and perspectives. And also have a peep on the site scenery. Follow the roof and then increase the fun of creation and visit the exhibition. On the plan I reset the school gate along the high difference terrain to create a 60cm height visual diversion, distinguishing the flows of
28
students to school and visitors to exhibition. The new school gate emphasis and natural combination, students can feel the bird chirps on the way to school, rather than the general cement city feeling.
B' Exhibition flow I hope to overlap the indoor and outdoor , let people in the exhibition or creation can first precipitate the mind, transform the mood and then enter the next exhibition hall. And in the middle area is to control the population and then diversion, so that visitors can't enter the school for the students's safety .The whole museum can be opened during the holidays, visitor can go to the 2F library and to visit the art class in 3F.

In the design of the exterior of the architecture, I first depict the outline of the buildings around the site, and follow these contours can depict different axes. I overlapped these axes together and ended up with a final contour of the site environment that was a prototype of my architectural exterior. As part of the elementary school classroom, I want my architecture to connect with the school building, and students can walk directly into the classroom and library of my architecture from the third floor of the school. As walked to the final observation deck, I supported the space on the third floor through the structural system of truss, which reduced the interior pillars of the building, and these structures could form different windows, which faced the different landscapes around the site, one can see pedestrians and cars on the
street the other can see the activity in the school. I wanted to break down the borders that had been formed by the terrain, re-use the high and low terrain to extend to my architecture, these public open roofs can become the new community spaces, the process into school became more interesting, students had to walk through the park next to the art museum to enter the campus, I think it's like a process of transforming the mood. And these parks can also be turned into a school meeting place.

ELEVATION
Cycling so far is not just a few fanatic's sport , but a healthy, efficient and sustainable transport. However, the real problem is: Will cycling change the city? Is it will lead to new urban forms, or create possibility of a new office atmosphere? I believe so. I believe cycling may just be a catalyst for urban renewal the 21st century. Cycling is already visible to see the speed of growing in Taiwan , and it's outburst gives us a better way to realize the change that it gave us. Including how it affects our lives. Green transport may be just a word, but to summarize the possibilities for the growth of the bicycle business , and I'll discuss the green transport's affect to the office building , and brings it into our job to creat a new life experience. By promoting the use of low-polluting, energy-efficient and intelligent transport vehicles, providing a sustainable transport environment that provides safe, comfortable, environmentally friendly and co-existing, increases the awareness and consensus of local governments and the pupulace, and effectively implements the concept of environmental conservation and resource rephysiology of green transportation. Because of the civilized society to the extreme develope, we faced
with the information explosion and the pace of life increased. Modern people can not vent the pressure from work and life, so I combi office building with bicycles, through bicycle-related sports for the work into the new activities to express the pressure. The carrying walls between the building elevators are the main structures, while the truss system is used to reduce the interior pillars. 1-4th floor for the bicycle runway, 5-13th floor is the office area. The office area offers different types of office styles, while the 5-7th floor is a bicycle display area, the 8th floor is a bathhouse and bicycle presentation, and the top floor is the extreme sport ground.

Bees get the nectar they need to make honey by traveling between flowers, and brings pollen from one plant to another, resulting in pollination, through this relationship they can take each other's needs and grow better.Since 1993, Taiwan has begun to enter an aging society. In 2018, Taiwan enter an "aged society". In the future population will move towards to ultra-aged society. With the continuous aging of the population, the empty house rate in Taiwan has increased significantly in recent years, more and more elderly people live alone in a house, even if they die that no one has found out . How to deal with these old and empty houses is an issue that needs need to be take high seriously. How to make old and empty houses have a new dialogue with people and the environment is the issue I want to study. Reduce the walls of old buildings
40
Interacting with the streets
"Can people experience space freely like a bee?Can these different programs have a good effect on each other? "
By observing the "mutualism" system between bees and flowers, the bees will collect the pollen on their feet and in the whole collect process, it will not hurt the growth of the flowers. All the bees freely shuttle between the flowers, there is no regular fly form, but overall can be seen to fly around the flowers, and fly straight between the stems. I think this amazing relationship is like putting new life in the old house, growing each other without creating a new thing. It become very powerful that just having a good chemical reaction with each other on the original basis. The Yongkang shopping area has developed outwards with "Yongkang Park" as the center. After the MRT Xinyi Line is opened to traffic, it
makes transportation more convenient. Foreign tourists are mostly Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea. There are also many schools nearby. In this historic community, combining new and old products, different cultures. So I chose six different program to renovate the old house beside the park, trying to insert new activities and produce good effect to the old functions without destroying the entire old house. In order to connect the opposite park and the surrounding environment, I choose these six different program (shop, gallery, library, student activity center, residence, gardens) into a small old house and expect to create mutualism between these program.
41
Notation Of MUTUALISM Reducing , Producing
What I wanted to renovation but not building a new architecture is that when the resourse are getting limited, how to achieve maximum benefits with minimal movement. "Mutualism" is a way that I combine this concept into renovation. For me, Mutualism architecture can divide into three part-〔〔surrouding environment/architecture〕/human〕, and can produce benefit to each other. It's relatively easy for human to produce benefit to architecture, for example : people use light, controllable, recyclable material or form to built architecture and the activity that happened in the building can be seen, so the old house can be transparentizing. When the
42
building releases the message of external connection, people are no longer afraid to approach the old closed house. But, how can architecture produce benefit to human I think it's relatively hard for me. I want my architecture can offer people freely go through the different program that happened in the building. So I think the newly intervention activity is like a bee, in the notation is the red part, It can have a Mutualism relationship with the original old house, through reducing the wall , floor, corrider of the original building, re-interpretation of the old and the new, the relationship between people and architecture and the environment.

Aquaponics is a new organic and pesticide-free diet types. How to achieve sustainability in today's exquisite-diet explosion society? Perhaps Aquaponics is an answer. Located in the heart of organic shops and wetlands, the site uses organic tandem to create a circular economy with surrounding merchants. With the development of balcony units, through rotation and overlap to increase the communication space. Through the fish and agriculture to become the inside and outside bridge. Create a healing garden trail for the mentally retarded elderly, forming a path in flows through the Aquaponics system, connecting the different plans. Through family members setting divide into long-term occupants and renters, eight shared space units are placed in. Weekday and holiday activities are set through a storyboard. My site is located at the intersection of campus ramps and Shuiyuan Street, an important entrance for students to enter the campus, as well as a static comparison between campus's statics and Shuiyuan Street's dynamics, and a flip point for the school gate image of the future Light Rail Transit project. I found by analysis that this site is an over-the-top belt connecting the exterior and interior of the campus, in a bigger perspective that it is the closest school gate site to the future light rail range, so it is a potential to be developed into a new school gate site within the next decade. Through the sight analysis, people on the right side of Shuiyuan Street will be blocked by the bush, and the people on the left will be affected by eucalyptus trees, so I hope to be able to attract people with sound in a limited range of sight. On the noise analysis, I found that this location is in a high-decibel state at different times, and the sound types are complex, and I don't want to cover it with a bigger sound, because it can make noise, and I hope it is a natural and harmonious sound that reminds people to be ready to convert their mood into campus.

In the artistic creation with the site, regardless of the accidental encounter in the path of life, the real experience of the daily pace of life, or the intensive communication of a particular object, through the "stay" deep observation and understanding of the social spectrum of residential neighborhoods, is the basic field in which the public art creators of the social house absorb knowledge in local.

So I think the partnership spawned by artist-in-residence creation through contact with each other has gradually spawned artistic events and works, not only to implement the artistic philosophy of "relationship aesthetics", but also to create a more inclusive sense of neighborhood in the community.

"Bamboo wave" takes the Japanese "Tsu-bo" homophonic, meaning "one square meter", and aims to use the bamboo construction method to build a pavilion with one square meter. Each group of works translates a bamboo construction method. In my group, we design a curves shape structure through the overlap of bamboo, and as a junction of the whole exhibition we designed a corridor-like space that provides a chair rest of bamboo at different heights, and we want visitors to come in as if they were starting to dream, and the whole exhibition becomes part of the dream.
