RESOURCEN & URBANE Der urbane Metabolismus bewertet die Nachhaltigkeit der Städte hinsichtlich folgender Parameter: Eine Stadt erhält Ressourcen aus ihrer KREISLÄUFE lokalen Umgebung oder durch Handel (Produktion). Die Stadt verbraucht die Ressourcen für die Produktion von Wirtschaftsleistung und sozialen RESOURCES & URBAN METABOLISM Dienstleistungen (Konsum) und entsorgt die Abfälle in die Umwelt (Abfall). The urban Metabolism measures cities´ sustainability regarding: A city gets resources from its local environment or through trade (Production). The city consumes the resources for the production of economic outputs and social services (consumption), then discharges the waste into the environment (waste).
