The finals is always a bitter sweet rodeo for everyone who goes to compete and their family and friends who are all there to support contestants, as it marks the end for many seniors making their last rides as a Texas High School Rodeo athlete. Not only that but because it also marks the next step in their lives whether that be to college or going pro rodeo in the next year. There will be many people we will miss next year from Region VI cannot wait to see all of them to leave everything they have worked for out there in the middle of that arena come Saturday at the short go. Region 6 is having 58 contestants compete at the finals and 18 of those contestants are seniors so if you hear lots of cheering from Region 6, feel free to cheer with us as we help our rodeo athletes at THSRA Finals. Everyone has put in blood, sweat, and tears to get to this week, now all we have left to do is put on a great performance for everyone! So let’s make this the greatest show on dirt.
