As usual, President Alejandro Giammattei, in his different departmental tours, has headed meetings with local authorities to promote the development projects implemented throughout his administration.

Accompanied by ministers, vice ministers, and other officials of the Executive Body, the President ratified his support to local governments in words and deeds. According to the approved 2023 budget, an alloca- tion between Q1 million and Q5 million increase to 75% of municipalities.

During his last regional visit, the Head of State stated that next year’s budget “is an extraordinary budget” and that the country’s 340 municipalities will receive more funds.

Every day the government is pursuing the well-being of all, getting closer to the communities.
