Guatemala cuenta con la infraestructura y servicios para el turismo de reuniones. Un ejemplo claro es que fue sede del primer Foro Forbes en Español, el cual reunió a líderes empresarios internacionales.

Impacto

La directora general del Instituto Guatemalteco de Turismo (Inguat), Anayansy Rodríguez, expresó. “El impacto de la industria de reuniones abarca al lugar sede del evento, al turoperador que debe coordinar la logística para poder trasladar a los participantes de un punto a otro, al transportista que presta su servicio, además de los restaurantes, a los sitios de interés como comercios, entre otros”.

Asimismo, mencionó que se ofrecen las condiciones ideales para la realización del turismo de reuniones. ¡Guatemala le espera!

Guatemala has the infrastructure and services to foster MICE tourism. A clear example is the hosting of the first forum Forbes en Español, which brought together international business leaders.

Impact

The general director of the Guatemalan Institute of Tourism (Inguat), Anayansy Rodríguez, said that “the MICE industry has an impact on many industries. These include the venue, logistics coordination by the tour operator moving the participants from one point to another, transportation company, restaurants, places of interest, stores, etc.”

She also mentioned the country offers ideal conditions for MICE tourism. Guatemala is waiting for you!
