AGA AUTO GLASS TRADE SHOW APPROACHES

The event for auto glaziers will be held in Sydney on the 25th of March, 2023

The Auto Glass Association (AGA) says it will be hosting a “first of its kind event for the Auto Glass Industry in Australia” in March.

The inaugural AGA Auto Glass event will be held at the Royal Randwick Racecourse on Saturday the 25th of March 2023 from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

The AGA Auto Glass event is free to attend and an opportunity for auto glaziers to view calibration demonstrations and the latest tools and trends in auto glass, to ask questions on glazing adhesives, and to learn what the AGA is about.

AGA says this event will also give auto glaziers the opportunity to get the real facts face-to-face from industry experts.

It states that the industry is going through change, and this is an opportunity for attendes to see how it will impact their business and how they may be able to adapt.

The AGA encourages you to “get the facts and come to the event,” with Auto Glass Association President, Rick Janssen, stating “everyone who registers online and attends on the day will have the chance to win a Hella Mega Macs X (RRP $4490) or a Texa Air2 San (RRP $2,400). And if you join the AGA at the event, you will have the chance to win a WRD Pro 6 Install System (RRP $800).”

“The AGA represents the interests of the entire industry across Australia and New Zealand,” Rick said.

“We act as a conduit of reliable information between suppliers, government departments, the auto industry, associated groups and auto glass technicians across the country.” to create the shortest connection between the Messeplatz entrance and Hall 12. By examining various scenarios, it was possible to shorten the path of the bridge by approximately 10 metres. In total, this section will be 120 metres long, 8.30 metres wide and 6.90 metres high (in external dimensions).

The AGA was formed in 2013 by stakeholders from all sides of the Australian auto glass industry, who recognised the need for industry representation in the face of advancing technologies, new work practices and confusing standards.

In order to keep the logistical restrictions in the outdoor area behind the Cargo Center as low as possible, the Via Mobile will be realised as a bridge structure with only two concrete support structures. The multi-functional support structures are located on adjacent areas, also contain the escape stairs and form oases for visitors with seating and greenery.

Panoramic panes in the façade provide perspectives of the Frankfurt skyline. Visual connections to the Torhaus, the Messeturm and the “show side” Emser Brücke guide visitors to their destination and prevent a tunnel effect.

The goal is to complete the new section of the Via Mobile, which will then be around 1.7 kilometres long, for the opening of the new Messeplatz entrance. Work is expected to begin in 2024. For more information, visit www.messefrankfurt.com

The AGA explains that independent businesses, franchisees and suppliers banded together to form a singular, truly independent, and non-profit association and in 2020, the association expanded into New Zealand, boosting memberships by 30 percent.
