RAVENOL HEADS DOWN UNDER

Last year, Ravenol lubricants and products became officially available in Australia for the first time

Mention the name Ravenol to a workshop owner or technician in Australia and the chances are most people would not have heard of the name or what it is known for.

However, mention Ravenol in Germany and it would be hard to find a workshop who hasn’t used one of its high-quality premium lubricants or additives.

Ravenol explains it is a 75-year-old German oil company and “one of the most dynamic brands for premium lubricant products in the world.”

Ravenol is also reportedly acknowledged as a global player who manufactures and markets high-quality lubricants with an enviable reputation in over 80 countries.

The great news is, for the first time Ravenol lubricants and products are now officially available in Australia through distribution partners Imparts Automotive and Group Auto Spares stores.

“Made in Germany” Ravenol engine oils are developed to meet the specific requirements of the Manufacturer and it says its advanced lubricant technology not only meets, but often exceeds, the latest requirements of today’s motor vehicles.

Ravenol branded products carry approvals for many of the world’s major manufactures including Daimler, Volkswagen, BMW, Porsche, Volvo, Chrysler, MAN, Cummins and ZF.

Its products are also listed by API (American Petroleum Institute) and ACEA (European Automobile Manufacturers Association. Ravenol states that the large number of OEM Approvals confirms the high quality of its products.

Ravenol says it is also rapidly becoming one of the world’s most popular lubricant brands in motorsport, with its involvement including the Le Mans 24 Hour, Audi Sport TT Cup and the highest single seater categories below Formula 1. Ravenol is also extensively involved in rallying and is a technical supplier in motor bike racing. Today, the extensive motor-racing involvement of Ravenol comprises of more than 100 race series worldwide.

Ravenol’s aim for its products is to have a low environmental impact and be eco-friendly. It says there is no better example of this than Ravenol’s revolutionary Bag-in-Box 20L container system. The Ravenol Bag-in-Box system is made up of a robust outer box and a plastic bag that has an integrated outlet tap. This innovative oil container system is not only space saving but offers a sustainable disposal of the packaging components. The system saves up to 80 percent in space with the empty packages as compared to package containers of the same packaged size.

FUCHS RENOLIT GT-PLEX2

The new product is now available at all R&J Batteries branches Australia-wide

The FUCHS RENOLIT GT-PLEX2 is a highperformance lithium complex grease that covers a wide range of applications.

This multi-purpose grease is an excellent choice for wheel bearings and industries such as agricultural, earthmoving, automotive, construction, mining, transport and power generation.

It is also designed to stay in place, resisting water wash out even in the toughest of work conditions.

The RENOLIT GT-PLEX2 is made in a strong orange colour for easy identification. The grease is designed to resist squeeze-out during use, while also preventing wear and corrosion in your application.

The multi-purpose grease provides an effective seal against contamination ingress such as dirt, dust and water.

This in turn reduces grease consumption and prolongs the life of the components which are lubricated using the FUCHS grease.

The RENOLIT GT-PLEX2 is made in Australia for applications operating under Australian conditions. It is available in 450g cartridge, 20kg pail and 180kg drum sizes to suit a wide range of applications.

FUCHS is a pioneer in the lubricants industry with over 90 years of expertise and global presence.

The lubricants manufacturer says it has revolutionised the industry with its extensive product range in six key categories

• automotive,

• industrial,

• motorcycle,

• specialist applications,

• mining, and

• private label.

Within the FUCHS Group, the FUCHS LUBRITECH division focuses on Special Application Lubricants under which the RENOLIT GT-PLEX2 grease product was developed. This division has more than 60 years of expertise specialising in the development and production of high-performance lubricants and release agents for the most demanding applications.

This state-of-the-art container system is further enhanced with a movable space-saving shelf system which has the capacity to store 10 x 20L Bag-in-Box bundles.

The outlet taps are cleverly suspended into a groove strip which ensures simple and clean bottling of the product, and the system comes with a removable drip pan for easy cleaning and has fastening casters to easily move around the workshop.

Oil is now a spare part

With the vast range of vehicles and multitude of differing specifications in today’s market, it is almost impossible for workshops to carry all the lubricants that is demanded of them.

Ravenol says that by taking advantage of its extensive product range and using distribution partners in Imparts Automotive and Group Auto Spares with three deliveries per day in metropolitan cities throughout Australia, oil can now be treated like a spare part.
