CENTURY BATTERIES EXPANDS RANGE OF BATTERY TESTERS

Century Batteries is pleased to introduce the latest addition to its battery testing range, the BT900

The BT900 is a professional battery and system tester, that provides users with the ability to quickly and easily determine the condition of a battery, both in and out of the vehicle. It also affords the ability to conduct a diagnostic test of the vehicle’s electrical system.

The BT900 features patented Single Load Dynamic Resistance technology to simulate the real-world conditions a battery will face.

It will not be misled by common conditions such as high surface voltage, poor cell connections and contact impedance, delivering accurate results test after test.

The unit provides starting and charging system testing and features simple instructions and an easy-to-read four-line LCD display with adjustable brightness.

It has a built-in Two-Inch Thermal Printer with easy-to-load design which allows users to replace the paper roll easily and provides a complete test report print-out. In addition, information can be customised including the date and time.

Suitable for use with both conventional and idle stop start battery technologies including 12V regular flooded, AGM flat plate, AGM spiral plate, VRLA/GEL and Stop-Start (EFB and AGM) the BT900 is a fast, affordable and essential service tool for battery resellers and automotive workshops, says Century Batteries. Don’t leave your customers stranded –test every battery

Century Batteries says that research has proven the correlation between the more batteries you test, the more you sell.

In Australia, approximately 750,000 vehicles per year require a roadside battery replacement – and over 70 percent of these vehicles would have been in a service bay or retail outlet within the last six months.

Century Batteries explains that proactive battery testing using a handheld tester like the BT900 from Century Batteries provides an accurate on the spot test result in minutes.

It can help identify suspect batteries before they fail and highlight problems with the vehicle’s starting and charging system. But more importantly, it helps your customers avoid the financial and emotional costs associated with a flat or faulty battery.
