DAVIES CRAIG TO EXHIBIT AT SUMMERNATS 36 For 20-plus years Davies, Craig has travelled each January to Canberra for the automotive extravaganza Tens of thousands of car-loving fans and thousands of Summernats entrants will either take part or enjoy the automotive carnival of varying festivities which encapsulates the entire city for four full-on days in the first week of January. The activities will commence on Wednesday the 3rd of January when the gates open to all car enthusiasts and will proceed over the following four days. Competitors and spectators alike will descend on the Exhibition Park precinct to witness some truly fantastic custom cars along with the annual street cruise, the burnout competition and evening entertainment offering up some of Australia’s hottest acts, enthuses Davies, Craig. There will also be a broad range of international
and national automotive aftermarket companies exhibiting, such as Davies Craig, which will bring its entire auto cooling range for display and sale. Some automotive aftermarket companies use this very high-profile event to release new products and showcase the very best automotive aftermarket products they have to offer. Davies, Craig will be showcasing several new and exciting products in the Rare Spares Exhibitor’s Pavilion. These include its two new alloy EWP80 Electric Water Pumps, which will be available as individual modules, kits or as a Combo Kit which comes complete with the LCD EWP/Fan Digital Controller. Also on display will be two new Hi-Power 10-inch and 12-inch Thermatic Electric Cooling Fans which reportedly offer 40 percent more cooling force (CFM) than their standard counterparts. Another highlight of the Davies, Craig Summernats display will be the first appearance of its new range of Universal Oil Coolers. The extension to the current 19mm Transmission Oil Cooler range will see two new 32mm models with adaptors to suit engine oil cooler applications. Alongside these models will be two new 50mm,19 Row and 30 Row models both with AN19 ORB fittings.
Davies, Craig explains it has extended the Digital Thermatic Switch range to now include either a 35mm or 38mm in-line adaptor for simple ‘plug and play,’ top radiator hose installation. CONOR SHANAHAN TRIUMPHS IN POLAND
Long-term ACL partner and Irish drift driver Conor Shanahan recently clinched the 2023 Drift Master European Championship Conor Shanahan recently clinched the 2023 Drift Master European Championship at the season finale at the PGE Narodowy arena in Warsaw, Poland in front of 53,000 fans. ACL General Manager, Chris Brooks, said this is a fantastic achievement from Conor and the whole family. “It was a great season for Team Shanahan with elder brother Jack coming fifth overall in the championship,” Chris said. “We are proud to have been associated with Conor and Jack for the last seven years. To see the
achievements of Season 2023 and the success of Conor and his family was a fantastic reward and a culmination of all of their hard work over many years.” ACL first became involved with the Shanahans at a chance meeting with the family at the Autosport Birmingham tradeshow in January 2017. At this time Conor was only 13 years of age and already a professional drift car driver, following in the footsteps of his elder brother Jack. “We have been very impressed with Conor’s professionalism and development in the sport. Conor is a great ambassador for our brand and has a very strong and passionate social media following,” Chris said. Chris said Drifting has a huge following throughout Europe, USA and Japan. “We are very proud that our brand is the first choice of the engine builders and race teams in the category.
