The designer who started her

business two 2 years ago said she was trained at Ella Bernard’s fashion school in Abuja. With N200,000, Jamila has grown her business to an enviable one. “To be good in this business, one must be a hard worker, patient and ready to meet targets and demands of a variety of people. Also, one must have set standards in meeting the needs of clients” she said. Despite her business growth, Jamila is still challenged with the power supply situation. young pilot is also aiming to become a renowned professional aircraft handler who could fly around the world. But his aspiration seems to be under threat, unless he could pass through another advanced course that will certify him as a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) holder. He clarified: “As a PPL holder, you cannot fly bigger aircraft unless you get a CPL. You cannot also get a job as a trained pilot without having that licence. To upgrade my license, I need to obtain that so I can compete with contemporaries.” An aviation college in the United Kingdom is set to admit Suleiman this year,

if only he could meet the financial commitments. The young pilot said he is quite excited about this and looks towards the state government’s direction for a possibility of a scholarship. “Flying Time Aviation, Brightron City, United Kingdom, has offered me a full-time admission to study, which will lead to obtaining the desired Commercial Pilot Licence. I have written to my state governor seeking the state’s sponsorship so I can actualize my dream. “If I get the scholarship, I believe it will be beneficial to the entire state and Nigeria as I will definitely make the state and the country proud,” he echoed.
