Seminar on Bankruptcy Law and Practice The 34th annual Judge Alexander L. Paskay Seminar on Bankruptcy Law and Practice moves to a new time of year at a new venue and with an exciting new format. Now in partnership with the ABI, the seminar delivers prominent national speakers on timely topics in both commercial and consumer bankruptcy, plus unique optional networking events, including a spring training game featuring the defending World Champion New York Yankees. A judges’ panel on circuit splits includes bankruptcy judges from seven judicial circuits, and five judges from Florida are also on the faculty. Nearly 11.5 hours of CLE are available. Offered again this year is the primer course “Bankruptcy Fundamentals: Nuts & Bolts for Young and New Practitioners.” This program is presented by the sitting Judges in the Tampa Division of the Middle District of Florida.

ENDOWMENT FUND Insolvency Research and Education The ABI Anthony H.N. Schnelling Endowment Fund was created in 1989 to provide resources for research and education. Projects eligible for funding include: studies relating to bankruptcy or insolvency; surveys or other analytical investigation; the education of judges, court personnel, other governmental personnel and the general public; scholarships or other educational grants; and any other projects with a material research or educational benefit to the bankruptcy and insolvency community. Seminar on Bankruptcy Law and Practice The 34th annual Judge Alexander L. Paskay Seminar on Bankruptcy Law and Practice moves to a new time of year at a new venue and with an exciting new format. Now in partnership with the ABI, the seminar delivers prominent national speakers on timely topics in both commercial and consumer bankruptcy, plus unique optional networking events, including a spring training game featuring the defending World Champion New York Yankees. A judges’ panel on circuit splits includes bankruptcy judges from seven judicial circuits, and five judges from Florida are also on the faculty. Nearly 11.5 hours of CLE are available. Offered again this year is the primer course “Bankruptcy Fundamentals: Nuts & Bolts for Young and New Practitioners.” This program is presented by the sitting Judges in the Tampa Division of the Middle District of Florida.
