La presente miscellanea vuole essere un omaggio grato al lavoro svolto in Facoltà Teologica sezione San Tommaso d’Aquino in Napoli. La liturgia è lo spartito necessario perché si possa educare il popolo di Dio all’ascolto della parola di Dio. Infatti ha il compito di esprimere i sentimenti, le gioie e le tristezze di ogni battezzato e di portarle al cuore di Cristo che presenta al Padre la vita della sua Sposa. Educa all’oblatività, perché ogni battezzato prenda su di sé i pesi e le fatiche di chi è più debole ed affaticato sul modello del Signore Gesù. La liturgia è esperienza profondamente ecclesiale, perché unisce la confessione di fede alla vita di ogni credente e ci indica che la via cristica è ascolto religioso dell’uomo, delle sue realtà più profonde, delle sue fragilità e dei suoi condizionamenti. Nella preghiera più elevata si contempla Dio nel frammento umano. Gesù insegna che la liturgia è vita nel soccorrere il povero, nel credere che ognuno dei più abbandonati dice qualcosa della presenza di Dio in mezzo al mondo. Allora credendo a Dio e credendo in Dio apriamo il nostro sguardo nel dare fiducia all’uomo e nel confidare nelle potenzialità dell’uomo. La presente miscellanea vuole essere un omaggio grato al lavoro svolto in Facoltà Teologica sezione San Tommaso d’Aquino. Ci uniamo al coro degli studiosi che hanno scritto pregevoli contributi per ringraziare lo studioso di Liturgia per il suo impegno accademico. Il cuore di una diocesi è proprio la preghiera, che si eleva dal popolo di Dio al Padre per mezzo del sacrificio del Figlio nella comunione dello Spirito Santo. La Santa Liturgia è Eucaristia, fonte e culmine di ogni pensiero e di ogni azione della Chiesa e nella Chiesa. La grazia sacramentale sostiene, eleva e sprona ogni membro della Chiesa ad essere parte attiva nella costruzione del Regno di Dio. È nella Liturgia che tutti si riconoscono fratelli per essere testimoni credibili dell’amore di Gesù Cristo. Coltivare la liturgia comporta un impegno per l’edificazione della Chiesa in ogni sua parte. Nella celebrazione si constata a piene mani che la comunione è esperienza di fraternità e di condivisione di ciò che la comunità possiede in favore di chi è ultimo e scartato. Il monito dell’apostolo Giacomo è sempre valido in ogni tempo, perché la celebrazione è esperienza di profonda unione tra persone di razze diverse, di censo diverso e di opinioni diverse nell’unica realtà, la Chiesa (cf. *F 2, 1-13). La liturgia insegna l’inclusività, la prossimità; è maestra di umanità, perché cura, fascia ed allevia con il balsamo della grazia le ferite che ogni uomo e ogni donna presentano al Signore nella celebrazione eucaristica. La Liturgia è lo spartito necessario perché si possa educare il popolo di Dio all’ascolto della parola di Dio. Infatti ha il compito di esprimere i sentimenti, le gioie e le tristezze di ogni battezzato e di portarle al cuore di Cristo che presenta al Padre la vita della sua Sposa. La liturgia ci indica che la via cristica è ascolto religioso dell’uomo, delle sue realtà più profonde, delle sue fragilità e dei suoi condizionamenti.
