Dear Reader, When we decided to create the ABSOLUTE ESCAPE project, and the idea of ​e diting the ABSOLUTE ESCAPE EDITION, one of the assumptions behind it was that they would have to be editions referring to “exceptional” places, and that the graphic quality of the images it would have to be faultless.

And that these factors combined with a modern design, with careful graphic lines and "clean", provide a very strong sense of reading, leading readers to have a graphic experience, as close as possible to the reality of the place, to what it has to offer , and so could wish to travel to it and enjoy a real experience.

With issue #002 of the ABSOLUTE ESCAPE EDITION we present places to visit, and suggestions for an “absolute escape” whether for a weekend, a few days or even a welldeserved vacation. With ABSOLUTE ESCAPE EXCLUSIVE EDITION #001 reaching 35,000 readers in just 1 week through ISSUU and MAGZER platforms, which makes me very happy, this edition is still a small sample of what ABSOLUTE ESCAPE could be, which is always intended to great graphic quality and with exceptional places to visit and stay.

In this edition with the theme “Portugal from My Heart”, we present three fantastic places in Portugal, Cacela Velha, Portinho da Arrábida and Comporta, expressing the commitment of this project to Portugal and its dream places. Villa D'Aurora belonged to the matriarch of the family, the grandmother Maria D'Aurora. Dating back to 1937, this Minho house was remodeled and expanded in 2020/2021.

The stone walls, the Minho balcony, the flirtation window and the peeking window are some of the characteristics of that time still visible.
