French packaging and perfumery students reinvent fragrance testing ❑ SCENTER is an innovative in-store perfume sampling solution that was created in response to the current need for safe, contactless experiences.
❑ The way that people purchase, and sample products in-store is changing, that is why, a competition organized by Easyfairs Oriex offers insight into solutions that fit a new world. ❑ Students from ESEPAC (European School of Packaging) and ESP (École Supérieure du Parfum) were challenged to reimagine in-store perfume testing in the midst of a pandemic. ❑ Inspired by the olfactometer, the SCENTER helps shoppers get the information they need, along with a sample. Badger UV Disinfect Robot to Elevate Health and Safety in Grocery and Retail Stores ❑ The American based company Badger Technologies has created the Badger UV Disinfect Robot to improve the health and safety of retail and grocery stores, as it uses advanced UV-C technology to tackle pathogens. ❑ The autonomous and self-navigating robot offers a simple way to bring more peace of mind to essential spaces with a high amount of activity and surfaces that have the potential to be contaminated. ❑ Disinfecting retail stores is an ideal job for these robots as they can navigate aisles effortlessly.

IKEA turns spelling mistake into a limitededition product with a purpose ❑ Misspelling usually creates a defective product that's recalled and then goes to waste, but IKEA Singapore took the opportunity to turn a mistake into a limited-edition cloth bag product that demonstrates the company's commitment to sustainability. ❑ IKEA Singapore released versions of its KLAMBY cloth bags printed with “www.ikea.co.sg” instead of www.ikea.com.sg. ❑ Now, on the company's site, the misprinted cloth bags are toted as unique, and they remind that “it's OK to make a mistake”. ❑ Since it would have been a shame to recall thousands of perfectly good reusable bags, IKEA Singapore settled on pointing out the unique qualities of the bags, which are in perfectly good condition.

The new MyGlamm store takes the traditional beauty counter to a whole new level ❑ MyGlamm's store in Juhu, Mumbai is a destination for beauty enthusiasts and a location that sets a precedent for the new normal. ❑ Upon entering the store, guests are greeted with their very own sanitation kit so that they can safely handle products before and after use. ❑ Beauty lovers are offered plenty of space to play and MyGlammXO Insiders are even invited to collaborate on the beauty products they want to come to fruition. ❑ According to the founder and CEO of MyGlamm, the latter represents an experience that brings together co-creation and shared artistry between brand and consumer to disrupt the conventional trial-first concepts for beauty with a flagship that redefines beauty retail's role for physically socially distant yet digitally socially communal consumers. Klarna partners with Cosmopolitan to livestream virtual shopping event ❑ Klarna is partnering with Cosmopolitan to host the second, bi-annual “Hauliday by Cosmo x Klarna,” which the companies say is the firstever virtual shopping event specially created for Gen Z and millennials. ❑ The 48-hour event, which debuted in August 2020, will take place in March 2021. ❑ The two-day Hauliday event will feature sales across fashion, apparel, footwear, and beauty from retailers such as Macy’s, Rebecca Minkoff, Saks Off 5th, Express, Bluemercury, and Foot Locker. This year’s event also marks the introduction of a livestream shopping component in partnership with livestream retail platform ShopShop. ❑ Livestreaming is becoming an increasingly popular digital commerce channel, with retailers including Walmart, J.C.
