WE’LL SEE – inspirational story Once upon a t ime, t here was a f armer in t he cent ral region of China. He didn’t have a lot of money and, inst ead of a t ract or, he used an old horse t o plow his f ield. One af t ernoon, while working in t he f ield, t he horse dropped dead. Everyone in t he village said: “Oh, what a horrible thing to happen.” T he f armer said simply: “We’ll see.” He was so at peace and so calm, t hat everyone in t he village got t oget her and, admiring his at t it ude, gave him a new horse as a gif t . Everyone’s react ion now was: “What a lucky man.” And t he f armer said: “We’ll see.” A couple days lat er, t he new horse jumped a f ence and ran away. Everyone in t he village shook t heir heads and said: “What a poor fellow!” T he f armer smiled and said:
“We’ll see.” Event ually, t he horse f ound his way home, and everyone again said: “What a fortunate man.” T he f armer said: “We’ll see.”
