Airmen from the unit are responsible for inspecting munitions to ensure their serviceability, sorting munitions according to their type and shipping them to their appropriate destinations. The 86 MUNS processes munitions for U.S. Air Forces in Europe and NATO allies. The kind of munitions the Airmen deal with range from small arms ammunition to large ordnance such as artillery. “We have it all here,” Tschoepe said.
FEATURES
Guns without ammunition are useless to the warfighter, and it is the same for fighter aircraft, bombers and attack helicopters. This is why the Airmen of the 86th Munitions Squadron strive for excellence at what they do: making sure
the Air Force’s aircraft and Airmen have the firepower they need to win the fight. “We have a saying: without ammo, the fighters are just corvettes in the sky,” said Master Sgt. James Tschoepe, 86 MUNS NCO in charge of tactical aircrew rapid response packages. “They can fly around and expend jet fuel all they want, but without the weapons they need, they cannot accomplish their mission.”

86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron stays wired Story and photo by Senior Airman Nesha Humes 86th Airlift Wing Public Affairs Whether it’s through freezing rain or scorching heat, many Airmen work tirelessly to employ airpower every day. More specifically, the 86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron aircraft electrical and environmental systems flight works diligently around the clock to ensure Ramstein’s air power is wired for success. From cabin pressurization to engine control, E and E works to inspect, troubleshoot and maintain all C-130J Super Hercules’ systems touching down on Ramstein’s flightline. “We get to be nerdy and technical enough to dig through a wiring diagram and play the most complicated game of connect the dots by chasing circuits down,” said Master Sgt. Ato Ellis, 86 AMXS command staff section chief, and E and E by trade. “We get greasy and dirty. We do the grunt work.” Staff Sgt. Roderick Coffey, Jr., 86 AMXS aircraft E and E systems craftsman, agreed and said he enjoys the challenges he faces in his job. “I always challenge myself to not pass anything on to the next shift. If I can fix all the problems that day with my shift, I feel great at the end of the day,” Coffey said. Although they are a specialized career within the maintenance field, their work load is steadily busy and changes day-to-day. “There are very few parts of the plane that we don’t touch and we aren’t

responsible for,” Ellis said. “Because the aircraft has a lot of systems, it’s the nature of the job. We used to jokingly refer to the environmental portion of the job as ‘everything else.’” The environmental portion includes items such as fire suppression, maintaining the oxygen converter, landing gear, and flight control. “It’s really cool to me how everything functions and how to pressurize the plane so aircrew can fly at 35,000 feet,” said Airman 1st Class Luke Derry, 86 AMXS aircraft E and E systems apprentice. “I’ve always liked car mechanics but switching over to planes was a big jump. The most rewarding thing about that is getting planes out on time and having them
take off when they’re supposed to.” As rewarding as their work can be, it offers many obstacles such as major repairs on new problems. “If it’s a system that doesn’t break often, we have to get back in the books, read up on the system again to see how it coincides with the problem,” Coffey said. “If new problems pop up every so often that no one has ever seen before, we have to start from scratch to fix what’s wrong.” Referencing more than 100 technical orders for each repair or replacement to pass inspection is a large part of the job. It is essential for the Airmen to follow an outlined protocol perfectly to maintain job efficiency and safety.
Therefore, a minimum of two qualified Airmen must sign off grounded aircraft prior to it taking flight again. The 86 AMXS Airmen remain a critical role in repairing the C-130Js and welcome the challenges it brings. “It’s exciting to walk into work and see the Air Force mission happen,” Ellis said. “E and E is always going to be challenging, and there’s always going to be someone that needs you. Most importantly, a handful of people bet their lives that you did your job right every time you do it. That’s always been exciting to me.” Rain or shine, E and E Airmen continue to stay wired and challenge themselves on the ground to generate mobility in the air.
attention to detail. This is why the 86 MUNS has set measures in place to ensure the safety of the Airmen who work there, Tschoepe said. “It’s very safe,” Tschoepe said. “Most of the hazards we face are industrial. We employ proper personal protective equipment, such as hand protec-
tion, gloves and goggles.” Despite the potential hazards, Senior Airman Jose Berrios, 86 MUNS munitions systems technician said he enjoys his job, feeling that he and his colleagues make a valuable contribution to the Air Force’s mission. “We are the nation’s defense. It makes me feel better that I’m providing security to my country,” Berrios said.
“Not a lot of people get to do this.” Tschoepe takes pride in his Airmen, many of whom are new to the Air Force. The 86 MUNS has just undergone a local in-house exercise, which aimed to enhance the squadron’s mission readiness. The Airmen learned quickly and performed well, he said. “We have a good group of Airmen here. They’re learning a lot,” Tschoepe
said. “We’ve received eight or nine Airmen straight from tech school in the past two or three months. This is their first exercise and they’re doing a great job.” Whether it’s ammunition for security forces Airmen to guard their installation or munitions for aircraft to succeed with their mission downrange, it’s made possible by Airmen of the 86th.

Kevin Huyck, provides air and space support to the Joint Force Command in Naples, Italy, in a fictitious collective defense scenario. The exercise was part of the preparation of NATO force headquarters for their standby period of the NATO Response Force 2017.
Courtesy of Headquarters Allied Air Command Public Affairs From Oct. 24 through Nov. 2, Headquarters Allied Air Command supported NATO’s command post exercise Trident Juncture 2016. The headquarters was bustling with activity with over 300 personnel, including 100 reinforcing personnel, standing up the Joint Force Air Component — the command element that is in charge of planning, tasking and executing approximately 200 simulated sorties of allied air assets per day.
“Several NATO and national air units are supporting and augmenting this joint effort to provide air and space power to the exercise play,” says Brig. Gen. Kevin Huyck, HQ AIRCOM deputy chief of staff operations and JFAC director during TRJE16. “We provide the air component dimension for Joint Force Command Naples for their leading role in the NATO Response Force in 2017.” Besides NATO’s AIRCOM, Headquarters Allied Rapid Reaction Corps and Strike Force NATO con-
tributed to the command post exercise, allowing the Joint Force Command to demonstrate the alliance’s ability to plan and execute a major joint operation. The exercise was conducted using a comprehensive approach involving a range of international state and nonstate actors to address simulated crisis situations. “The exercise uses a complex synthetic Article V Collective Defence scenario,” Huyck added. “We use this opportunity to plan, train and execute across the NATO command structure. Military members race for PTSD, suicide awareness by Senior Airman Larissa Greatwood 86th Airlift Wing Public Affairs After returning from a 2014 deployment, Staff Sgt. Aaron Nagy, U.S. Air Forces in Europe Air Ground Operations School joint terminal attack controller instructor, began looking for a hobby, an outlet to relieve stresses of the deployment, so he bought a four-wheeler. What he didn’t expect to find was a group of like-minded veterans who found that racing was a healthy way to relieve stress. “While searching for an ATV, I found this amazing organization that allows me to do something I enjoy and meet other veterans who have similar struggles,” Nagy said. “For us, being able to race helps us focus on something other than our daily stresses. There’s often a stigma with (post-traumatic stress disorder), and we’re trying to eliminate that.” Nagy started racing with
Vigilant Vet Racing while stationed in the U.S. two years ago. Now stationed here, he hopes to bring this opportunity to veterans in Germany. “We introduce vets to offroad riding and racing as an alternative means to address symptoms associated with PTSD and other issues,” said Rick Proctor, VVR founder and executive director. “Veterans get out on the trails on a bike, ATV or other machine and their problems get pushed to the back of their mind which provides relief. There is also a pretty intense adrenaline rush associated with riding a machine off-road.” Some crave the adrenaline rush they feel while serving in a combat zone, said Proctor, who created VVR after returning from a deployment in 2004 with PTSD. “Once away from that atmosphere, we can have a hard time adjusting to the slower pace of civilian life,” Proctor said. “Some of us turn to destructive
lifestyles to try to replicate the rush we felt in combat, which is obviously bad. Riding and especially racing can provide that rush without the danger of ruining one’s health or life. Vets also miss the camaraderie they had with their peers while serving in the military. Most of the veterans who have joined our race team have rediscovered that sense of fellowship while participating in riding and racing off-road as there is a huge community of riders and a lot of them are veterans.” Proctor said there are large groups of participants in the U.S., especially on the east coast, but he’d like to see it expand overseas. By taking the result of rough patches of their past, veterans who enjoy racing dirt bikes and ATVs can utilize this outlet to meet others while participating in a therapeutic hobby. Mother’s love never fades, community never forgets
Maj. Gen. Timothy M. Zadalis, U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa vice commander, speaks during a symbolic dedication ceremony for Gary Currie, an infant who lost his life in 1952, Oct. 16 at the American Kindergraves in Kaiserslautern. Joy Caffey, Gary’s mother, does not know where her son is laid to rest. Her family reached out to the Ramstein Area Chiefs’ Group, and they offered to dedicate a gravestone to Gary within the Kindergraves.
Story and photo by Senior Airman Tryphena Mayhugh 86th Airlift Wing Public Affairs In 1952, Joy Currie, a young wife to an Air Force master sergeant in Koblenz, Germany, was staying in Wiesbaden awaiting the birth of her first child, a little boy. Arriving a week late, Gary Currie was born a full-term, 8-pound baby on Sept. 17, but there was a problem. “I was barely 18 years old,” Joy said. “Very naive. I saw him when he was first born, but then they rushed him off to the nursery. I thought that was just the normal thing to do. I didn’t know anything was wrong.” Gary lived for about 12 hours before succumbing to aspiration pneumonia, a condition caused by inflammation in the lungs from inhaling materials such as food or liquids. “I never got to see him again,” Joy said. “I begged and begged for them to take me to the nursery. There wasn’t anyone who would, so I never saw him again.” Joy’s husband at that time told her Gary had been buried at a children’s,
or “kinder,” cemetery in Frankfurt, but after doing some research, she discovered there hadn’t been a kinder cemetery in that area in 1952. For decades, she wondered what had become of her son. After Gary’s death, Joy had four daughters who grew to have children of their own. One of her granddaughters, Shannon, decided to try and search for information on Gary after her grandmother expressed a wish to find out what happened to her baby. “Shannon and I are very close,” Joy said. “She did this as a surprise. She had asked questions earlier about Gary, but I just thought she was interested.” In her quest to find her grandmother’s son, Shannon came in contact with Chief Master Sgt. John Robbins, U.S. Air Forces in Europe functional manager and Ramstein Area Chiefs’ Group lead. Robbins was in charge of the American Kindergraves in Kaiserslautern. Unfortunately, he didn’t have any information about where Gary was laid to rest, but offered to dedicate a symbolic gravestone in the
Kindergraves for him. “When we were unable to find her son’s resting place, I knew it would break her heart,” Robbins said. “We decided to get permission to add a marker to the site.” On Oct. 15, Robbins held the dedication ceremony and laid a gravestone in honor of Joy’s lost son. “I was so happy because it seemed like I was the only one in this world who even acknowledged he had been born,” Joy said. “I was the only one who seemed to care, other than my family. It gives me peace because I know he is not a forgotten little soul.” Fighting back tears while speaking at the dedication, Robbins felt many emotions. “(I felt) sorrow for the mother who lost her child so many years ago; fulfilled, knowing Gary has a place where he’ll never be forgotten; and happiness, knowing his mother’s mind is more at ease,” Robbins said. The Ramstein Area Chiefs’ Group organizes volunteers to clean the Kindergraves every month. Staff Sgt. Stephanie Rey, 86th Operations Support Squadron weather forecast-
er, led a group of volunteers who cleaned the site before the dedication. All of them stayed afterwards to pay their respects during the ceremony. Rey, who has children of her own, had a message for Joy. “The Chiefs’ Group makes sure volunteers are out here to take care of the Kindergraves, but today, this is for you and Gary,” Rey said. “This is for your family to be at ease that we’re going to take care of him. We are proud to be here and have a very special dedication to Gary.” Joy was overwhelmed with gratitude to everyone who participated in honoring her son’s memory. “I can’t express it,” Joy said. “I am so thankful that you people (did what you did) for my little baby boy. It’s so touching, and I am so grateful to each and every one of you. After all these years it seemed a miracle because it was so long ago. Thank you all so much.” Gary Currie would be 64 years old if he were alive today. Although he has been gone for so long, members of the KMC will make sure he is never forgotten.

Testing limits: 86 MUNS pushes itself during exercise
Airmen from the 86th Munitions Squadron and 86th Logistic Readiness Squadron install palettes inside a shipping compartment during an exercise Oct. 25 on Ramstein. After crates of ammunition or explosives are installed within containers, they are inspected before being shipped around the world. The exercise tested Airmen’s ability to more effectively ship and secure ammunition in case of a real-world scenario that would demand more from Ramstein’s 86 MUNS.
Story and photos by Airman 1st Class Lane T. Plummer 86th Airlift Wing Public Affairs The 86th Munitions Squadron participated in an exercise Oct. 23 to 26 on Ramstein. The training exercise tested Airmen’s flexibility by tasking them to increase the pace of their mission throughout the exercise. Maj. Neal Wilson, 86 MUNS commander, said the exercise provided a look at how they would perform during higher-pace situations. “The primary goal of this exercise is to measure our throughput capacity,” Wilson said. “We are validating training that we’ve received over time by putting Airmen to the test.” Airmen throughout the 86th Logistics Readiness Group participated in the exercise, allowing multiple units to train together and build interoperability. Airmen were broken up into several teams and tasked with a deployment schedule of events, providing the team’s goals to execute and the time limits for them. Some of these missions included stockpiling ammo boxes and bracing them inside International Organization of Standardization shipping containers. Airmen were maintaining maximum mission readiness, said Wilson. “This exercise gets to let us knock out the kinks we run into in a training environment, as opposed to a realworld scenario,” Wilson explained.
One of the Airmen that worked alongside the 86 MUNS, Airman 1st Class David Osborne, 86th Logistics Readiness Squadron traffic management journeyman cooperated alongside 86 MUNS Airmen, and enjoyed the opportunity to strengthen partnership ability with other units to com-
plete the same mission. “It’s always a good thing when you’re able to add variety to your career field,” Osborne said. “Working with other units allows me to help accomplish a large mission while professionally developing myself.” Whether it was team chemistry,
mission readiness or cooperative ability that they trained on, Team Ramstein Airmen proved that it’s ready for the next test that comes their way through this exercise. The mission may demand more at times, but the results never falter under a culture of innovation and excellence.

amounts of salmon and tomatoes in each dish. Preheat oven to 200 degrees (convection oven). If you don’t have convection, heat to 220 degrees Celsius. Strain potatoes. Let the steam dissipate. Remove garlic if you like. Add milk and butter to pot with potatoes and roughly mash the potatoes in the pot with a fork. You should still see that there are big chunks of potatoes. Add salt, ground white pepper, and nutmeg to match your taste. When adding nutmeg, remember, less is more. You can use too much, quickly. Add chives and 2/3 of cheese. Season salmon and tomatoes with salt, pepper and olive oil. Put in individual casseroles. Add potatoes on top of salmon. Cover it with the rest of the cheese. Put it in the lower part of the oven and bake for 20 minutes. You are ready to serve a tasty fish meal. Serve with a nice green salad. You can make a dressing from olive oil, Italian red wine vinegar, finely diced purple onions, salt, and ground white pepper.

Army doctor’s speech on sleep will keep you awake
Lt. Col. Robert V. Parish, 254th Medical Detachment commander and a clinical neuropsychiatrist, gives a “train the trainer” lesson in the science of sleep to Army Reserve medical professionals of the medical support unit of the 7th Mission Support Command Oct. 22 on Daenner Kaserne.
Story and photos by Sgt. Daniel J. Friedberg 7th Mission Support Command Public Affairs How many hours of sleep do you need every night? Army Lt. Col. Robert V. Parish, commander of the 254th Medical Detachment and a clinical neuropsychiatrist, gave a “train the trainer” lesson in the science of sleep in a briefing Oct. 22 on Daenner Kaserne. He, and Army Capt. Sway Nunez, spoke to Army Reserve medical professionals of the Medical Support Unit — Europe of the 7th Mission Support Command. The hour-long presentation was designed to inform the Soldiers of the MSU of the scientific and defense community’s latest research relating sleep to the warfighter’s physical well-being. Parish surveyed his audience for their sleep patterns and concluded that many Soldiers and adults in modern times often do not sleep as well as they should. The reasons
include work, study, life habits, family responsibilities and other stress, he said. Most people sleep in a 90-minute pattern and should get seven and a half hours a night to be considered truly rested. “Eight to be great,” said Parish of the target sleep duration most adults need. Parish also explained that when humans habitually sleep less than eight hours, but more than five, they may feel well because their motor functions are fine. Their decisionmaking, risk analysis and planning, however, can be as poor as a person who has not slept in 36 hours. “When this sets in, cognitive compromise results,” Parish said. “The results are poor concentration, diminished problem-solving skills and less emotional control.” Sleep is starting to be considered as important as hydration for military operations, he added. The Army is considering how to prioritize sleep for its operational leaders to avoid making bad or even dangerous decisions affecting Soldier’s

lives and mission effectiveness. Current studies are also giving support to the old wisdom that a quick nap, if done before 3 p.m., is one of the simplest remedies to make up for lost sleep, Parish said. More research is being done about the issue. “LeBron James gets 12 hours of
sleep a night in post season tournament play, and he’s arguably the best player in professional basketball,” said Parish, to help explain how sleep is connected to performance. Parish said that he even believes many marital issues could be solved if both partners simply got more sleep.
European nematodes pose threat to US farmers by Robert Szostek U.S. European Command Customs Public Affairs Europe is home to many agricultural pests that are not found in the United States, and soil is a natural hideout for them. Personnel assigned to Europe must remember to clean anything that collects dirt before they send it stateside. These pests can cause great damage to the U.S. farming economy. “You can unwittingly introduce
invasive pests into the USA,” said Julie Aliaga-Milos, U.S. Department of Agriculture adviser at the U.S. European Command Customs and Border Clearance Agency. “It only takes one bit of soil on your car, lawn furniture, bicycle, field gear, shoe or boot.” Vehicles and military equipment are especially prone to contamination by dirt, mud and soil, she added. “It is so important to clean everything you ship or mail home, whether
it is as a private person or as part of your work,” Aliaga-Milos stated. This is also why USEUCOM has a border clearance program that inspects personal property, privately owned vehicles and military shipments destined for the U.S. to prevent any pests from spreading. “For example, the burrowing nematode is a tiny worm not native to the States,” Aliaga-Milos said. “But it could hide in the mud on your boots. If you took that mud stateside, the
nematode eggs could later hatch and attack the roots of banana or citrus trees.” Losses on infested trees cost millions of dollars annually. The golden nematode attacks potatoes and tomatoes, reducing yields by as much as 80 percent. It threatens annual crop yields of over $1 billion. To find out more agricultural threats to the U.S., call a military customs office or visit www.eur.army.mil/opm/ customs/uscustoms.htm.

Quirnbach holds horse market, lottery by Petra Lessoing 86th Airlift Wing Public Affairs
Every second Wednesday in November, the village of Quirnbach holds its traditional horse market. The event will include a horse show with awarding, vendors, food specialties, musical entertainment and a lottery. “Quirnbach is a little village with 500 inhabitants, but we expect about 20,000 visitors Wednesday, said Elke Blomeyer from the organizing team. The market will start with the awarding of horses at 9:45 a.m. “More than horses of various breeds will take place, said Blomeyer. “In between the presentation and awarding of horses, there will be shows with wagons and children have the chance to ride ponies. “Our annual horse market is based on the long market tradition our village has. In 1444, historical documents mention the first market called “Bartholomaeusmarkt. The local church, Bartholomaeus Church, was known as a place for pilgrimage. With the pilgrims the vendors came to sell all kinds of merchandise. Quirnbach turned into a community with monthly markets after the town of Kusel burnt down during the French Revolution in 1794. The Kusel markets had to move to Quirnbach. According to a document dated April 26, 1799, every third day of the month a cattle

market was authorized. After Kusel was rebuilt, city officials wanted the markets back. But vendors and farmers from the local areas and even neighboring countries wanted to keep going to Quirnbach. In the years 1856 and 1857, 25 markets were held each year in Quirnbach. Local people made good money with the many guesthouses and inns they needed to feed all the visitors. Until around 1900, every second house in the village was turned into an inn. After around the middle of the 19th century, horses were not only owned by noble people but also used as draught animals by farmers. Quirnbach officials decided to hold their
first horse market on Saint Martin’s Day of 1877. The date in November was a good one for farmers. The crop was in and the financial situation was balanced. People had the time to visit the horse market. They sat together, celebrated and had fun. They started having dances. Since at that time it still was customary for parents to engage their children (without asking them), the horse market turned into the “marriage market. Also, the village asked the government to give authorization to hold a lottery, where people could win household items and agricultural machines. The main prizes were horses. The first time,
5,000 lottery tickets were sold. In 1892, 24,000 tickets were sold and in 1893, more than 300 ticket vendors traveled through the Pfalz to sell the tickets. After World War II and due to a growing motorization of agriculture, the cattle and horse market lost its importance. Better streets allowed farmers to visit their cattle
dealers at any time and not only during the market. Soon Bartholomaeusmarkt turned into a village carnival. In the beginning of the 1980s, community officials, local clubs and business people helped to revive the horse market and the lottery. Lottery tickets will be sold for â‚Ź1 a piece. The first prize is a seven-day boat cruise for two, the second prize is a television set and the third prize is a romantic candlelight dinner with overnight stay in a regional hotel, as well as other prizes. “The Quirnbach horse market also features more than 100 vendors’ stands and booths with clothes, shoes, horse equipment, jewelry, leather items, fruit, spices, sweets and Christmas cookies,â€? said Volker Zunkel from the organizing team. “Eating and drinking specialties include haxen, bratwurst, barbecue delicacies, potato waffles, pea soup and pizza.â€? Musical entertainment will be provided throughout the day in the fest tent. Quirnbach is located near Glan-Muenchweiler on autobahn A62. The main road in Quirnbach will be closed to motorized traffic.

SMART WAYS TO GET READY FOR AUTUMN
Photo by Jo Ann Snover / Shutterstock.com
It’s that time of the year again when as a kid, I couldn’t wait to gobble down every last crumb of the delicious spiced pumpkin pie and cinnamon rolls my mom baked. Those were the days! I love the chill in the early morning air and the leaves beginning to change color… fall is here! It’s also a good time to undertake some annual maintenance so you’re saved any pricey repairs when winter approaches. Clean the gutters Fallen leaves can beautifully carpet your lawn but at the same time clog the gutters and drains. Use a rake or a suitable garden implement to clean the leaves and debris from the gutters. Ice dams tend to form in blocked gutters and drains letting water percolate into the house. And while you’re at it, inspect and clean the downspouts as well. Ensure that the water flows away from your house and if necessary, add extensions to them to divert the flow of water away from the walls. Inspect the pipes Pipes that don’t have enough insulation can freeze as the temperatures dip, and frozen pipes can burst
which is a situation you don’t want to be in! Check the pipes in attics, basements, crawlspaces, garages and wrap them in insulated fiberglass or foam sleeves. Get your roof ready Inspect your roof for any repairs such as damaged or loose shingles and leaky vents. You can inspect the roof using binoculars or call in roofing experts to do a thorough check. If the house has a flat roof, sweep off the fallen leaves and other debris that accumulates over time. Flat roofs are also susceptible to rain water pooling on them and causing leaks. Mold and mildew stains are indicators of a leak, which if not addressed on time, can compound your problems when the rains and snow come pelting down. We got a new roof installed last year – the shingles on our old roof were in a terrible shape and we found a couple of dangerous leaks that threatened to destroy the structure if not fixed on time. Check the heating system Now we are in autumn, winter isn’t too far away either so make sure the heating system is in top shape to get the warmth back into your house.
If you don’t have one yet, consider a programmable thermostat which can be set to lower the temperature setting when required and greatly reduce your utility bills. Next, get the furnace inspected by a certified HVAC professional and clean it and get the filter changed. Buy a few filters and replace the furnace with a new filter once in a few weeks. Window maintenance It’s time to seal any gaps and cracks that could cause air infiltration and spoil even the most efficient heating system. To check for drafts walk around the house holding a lighted candle. Caulk and reseal every small gap or crevice you come across. When doors and windows are shut, you shouldn’t be able to see any light filtering in through the seal. If you can, reinforce the caulking and weather-strip the windows if necessary. Don’t stop at windows and doors, look for gaps wherever you have cable, gas, and phone lines coming in and even electric sockets and caulk them if needed. This is also a great time to mount storm windows for added insulation and keep the windows from fogging up during the cold season.
Replace the alarm batteries Replace the smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector with new batteries. Test them once to ensure they’re functioning properly. Hold a candle below as a smoke source to see if the smoke alarm goes off. Most of us have these safety devices in the house, but you can also put them up in garages and attics for added safety. Close the pool It’s not the season for a swim anyway! Call the pool maintenance guys and close the pool till summer next year and save yourself a ton of cleaning and maintenance woes. Once you’re done with all these chores, bring out your fall decorations to deck up your house and then sit back and relax!
