ILLUMINATION AND DECORATION OF FLAT SURFACES Dear Member, The Association of Wall and Ceilings Victoria has updated the Illumination and Decoration of Flat Surfaces booklet. LEVELS OF FINISH ASNZ2589:2007 defines three levels of finish for plasterboard linings, covering the different specification for the framing, installation, finishing and decorating required to achieve the various levels of finish. It is imperative that the required level of finish is determined at

the design state of the project with full consideration given to the lighting and decorative finishes to be used. Changes in the industry have greatly increased the need for this new edition. The cost of the booklet is $24.00 plus postage. To obtain copies contact T’arne at the AWCIV on (03) 9553 6363 or email admin@awciv.com.au.
