FOR more than 100 years, the Goulburn Valley has provided SPC with the richest landscape to preserve and grow our famous fruit and vegetable products. With up to 90 percent of our ingredients sourced right in our backyard, we are grateful that the Goulburn Valley has the most ideal climate for growing produce.

by Robert Giles, SPC chief executive officer

Rich soil, fresh air and sunlight allow for the perfect growing condition, truly making the Goulburn Valley the food bowl of Australia.

Our passionate employees around Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley work tirelessly to ensure that SPC’s core value of Better Food For The Future is delivered through top quality food and drink products. Better Food For The Future starts right here in the Goulburn Valley.

The Goulburn Valley is the foundation of SPC. It has allowed us to grow into a household name across the country, with plans of global expansion taking the goodness of the Goulburn Valley to the world. I am proud to share the goodness available through the Goulburn Valley with more and more consumers locally and overseas and look forward to putting the local region on the world stage, alongside SPC’s family of brands.

Being based from this region SPC has been able to elevate local products on the national stage, welcomed by consumers across the country for its high quality, flavour and nutritional value. From Shepparton, our business has been able to grow fruitfully. Without the support from all of the local workers, we would not be able to deliver Australians with the quality and quantity of the goods that we do today. It is through sourcing the best quality fruits and vegetables locally that we are able to put the best products on the supermarket shelves around the country.

We envision our next chapter including the expansion into the global market, however with such a strong reliance on our network of employees in Australia, we know our local roots remain the driving force behind any plans for growth. The Goulburn Valley is the heart of SPC and we will continue to support our local partners, invest in the region and maintain our rewarding connections.

SPC’s new brand Helping Humans highlights our passion for assisting the local community across health, environmental and wellbeing charities. With 10 percent of sale proceeds going directly to a charity of the consumer’s choice, we are continuously creating opportunities to be innovative.

SPC’s vision towards innovation, resilience and passion in the manufacturing industry is represented through the wonderful team that supports the business’ goals and objectives. The Goulburn Valley will continue to be the heartbeat of SPC and we look forward to creating more of Australia’s best produce for customers all over the country.
