Message From Canadian Heritage
Welcome to the 2023 TD Halifax Jazz Festival. Artists of all genres and traditions are coming together again for Atlantic Canada’s largest summer festival. Much like the city itself, this concert series is vibrant and diverse, and brings together musicians from across Canada and the world, providing a great soundtrack to Halifax’s summer. Our government strongly believes that arts, culture and talented performers at events like this have the power to drive change in our society while promoting openness and encouraging creativity. That is why we are the biggest supporter of the arts across the country, including this wonderful celebration.

Message From Td Halifax Jazz Festival Board Of Directors
On behalf of the TD Halifax Jazz Festival’s Board of Directors, I’m thrilled to welcome you to our 37th annual festival — a rich palette of sights, sounds and culture that will ring throughout the city from July 11–16.
As you look through our program guide this year, you’ll see a little something for everybody — from reggae and jazz, to hip–hop and indie pop. I’d encourage you to take in a show or two — whether it’s a name you recognize, or something entirely new.
And while you’re at it, take in the sights our city has to offer. You can stretch your legs at our Hydrostone stage, relax on the grass at our Dartmouth stage. You can nap early and head out after hours at our late–night stage — or enjoy the classic acoustics of St. Matthew’s Church. And of course, you’ll definitely want to check out the TD Main Stage. Set in the heart of
