ACCESSIBILITY AT TD HALIFAX JAZZ FESTIVAL

We support the Access 2 Card Program. Patrons who purchase a ticket and require a personal attendant can present a valid Access 2 Card at any venue and their support person receives free admission. Please contact the box office for further details at accessibility@halifaxjazzfestival.ca.

Large Print Schedules

Large print daily schedules are available upon request at our Information Tent located at the TD Main Stage site, located next to the Box Office.

Td Main Stage Accessibility

The TD Main Stage is wheelchair accessible. Two options are available for patrons attending an event and have limited mobility:

1. Bleachers

The bottom row bleachers are identified as Priority Seating for people with impaired mobility, the elderly, and pregnant women.

2. Wheelchair Platform

Located next to the front–of–house tech booth, this raised platform has seating for wheelchair users and their attendant to view the stage.

For evening concerts at the TD Main Stage, patrons with accessibility needs are permitted early access to the site starting at 7PM. Please check–in at the Box Office located on Lower Water St. at Salter St. upon arrival.

Accessible–only washrooms are located next to the Wheelchair platform. The main festival washrooms are also accessible.

Accessibility At Other Venues

All official TD Halifax Jazz Festival venues are wheelchair accessible. Those attending the event with mobility issues, should arrive at the venue 30 minutes prior to showtime to receive assistance.
