THE APOSTOLIC FAITH MISSION OF SA DIE APOSTOLIESE GELOOFSENDING VAN SA
Newsflash | 3 February 2017 Dear Colleagues, I would like to thank you for praying for the rain. We did receive rain in some parts of our country. In the Eastern Cape three of our church buildings collapsed as a result of the torrential rains. In the Eastern Cape Region, the affected church buildings are Middeldrift in King Williams Town and Redemption Centre in Mdantsane (refer to the photos below).
In the Kei Region, the building of Shallom Assembly was severely damaged (download a full report here: http://www.afm-ags.org/pastoral-communication). Besides damages to the church buildings in the Kei Region a number of our members were left homeless. I am appealing for any kind of assistance. Local Assemblies and members who would like to assist can contact Past Johannes Welskit, who is our Eastern Cape Regional Leader, at 0824221035 or through his email address which is: jwelskit@vodamail.co.za. Past Mawande Mnotoza, our Kei Regional Leader, can be contacted at 0825104361 or through his email address which is: mnotozam@hotmail.co.za. I also want to use this opportunity to direct a special request to you. As I am preparing to write the first Pastoral Letter for the new year, I want to ensure that the issues addressed in this letter are not only important on my agenda, but that they are also highly relevant on yours.
