GCTC is an integrated construction company that offers a wide range of services to meet the client’s needs and requirements. Each of the following features is diversified in its scope.

CONSTRUCTION This is the bread and butter of the company. We can confidently undertake the construction of all types of buildings, roads and highways including bridges, Land development, reclamation and Marine structures, and industrial projects

DESIGN The company has the qualified design personnel to conceptualize, innovate, create, and, concretize ideas in architecture and engineering of any building structures and any horizontal projects such as land development, roads and bridges, piers, ports and harbours, and other marine structures.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT The company has a group of well-trained managers and engineers with outstanding leadership that can handle and hand over projects on time at a reasonable cost. Our management will include construction supervision, quality assurance and control, safety, procurement, equipment and logistics, budget control, human resources, planning and monitoring, technical research and engineering.

In an attempt to provide solutions to clientele’s query and requirements GCTC can supply competent consultants and engineers to “pool-in” and initiate feasibility studies to identify the real issues and problems. REAL ESTATE GCTC acquires real estate properties in strategic locations to anticipate for the supply of amenities to the targeted customers. Furthermore, feasibility studies will be conducted for the development of the properties. Then, we sell or lease these developed properties to prospective customers.

To be able to carry out the activities and services of GCTC, the company has formulated a blend of interrelated and interdependent departments to have an integrated and centralized control of all the projects and undertakings.

PROJECTS OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT

This is the central, the pivotal department of the company, and all the rest are peripheral. It has the responsibility of handing over the projects on time within the target budget without sacrificing the quality and safety. The management and supervision of the projects are the primary responsibilities of the department. This department requires also the majority of the employees consisting of the Project Managers, Site Engineers, Foremen, Commandos, Skilled and normal labourers. This department is headed by the Project Operations Manager Eng.Mogahid Makki 22


ENGINEERING AND TECHNICALDEPARTMENT

The main duty of this department is to provide technical assistance to all the projects and undertake research and study of current trends in technology and information. They carry out the design, investigation, queries, research, technical studies, submittals, certificates, and drawings. The ETD also carries the duties of monitoring contracts and its respective Correspondence. Pre-bidding, bidding, and post-bidding activities are undertaken by this department including the preparations of invoices, attachment and quantity surveys.

ELECTRO-MECHANICAL DEPARTMENT Our Electro-Mechanical Department plays a vital role in the project by providing all technical data, material specifications, procedures, coordinator in the erection of all civil and architectural structure that are affected by or affecting electro-mechanical works, supervision in the installation of all electro-mechanical equipments (instruments, machines, engines, appliances, power controls, and other appurtenances), technicians and supervisors in the energizing and commissioning of the facilities. They also provide the ETD with the prices and quantities for bidding preparations. PLANNING DEPARTMENT

The planning department is essential in the controlling, monitoring, evaluating, scheduling, and budgeting of the projects whose functions are summarized into the following: • First: the planning department derives the cost estimates of all projects, making quantity surveying, and prepares the B.O.Q., and assigns the weight percentage for each activities. • Second: the planning department prepares the schedule, the projected targets and the preparations of the invoices. Third: the planning department monitors the progress of the work, recommends the changes and finalizes the corrections.

QUALITY ASSURANCE AND CONTROL DEPARTMENT

This department guarantees the quality of all the works which has the following interrelated activities: 11.Inspection 22.Quality Control 33.Quality Assurance 44.Recording All plants, equipment, instruments, and apparatus are regularly checked and calibrated. Materials are carefully maintained, stockpiled, and produced complying with international standards. The parameters are compiled and attested by external third party laboratory.

TELECOM SOLUTIONS DEPARTMENT From GCTC early days, we had provided all telecom services and telecom supporting operations and tasks, however our specializes in following telecom services • Full Turnkey Telecom Solutions • Managed Services Operation and Maintenance

PROCUREMENT DEPARTMENT

The Procurement Department is in charge of sourcing out all the requirements of the project except human resources. It handles the canvassing, submittals, sampling, selection, purchasing, and delivery of the materials, tools and equipment›s, and other requirements.

EQUIPMENT AND LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT

The Equipment and Logistic Department manages and supervises the acquisitions, maintenance, repairs, and performance of the equipment’s and operators. They are responsible for the training, certification and evaluation of operators. Their primary goal is to maximize the utilization of the equipment with a minimal cost of operation, repairs, and maintenance.

SAFETY AND LOSS PREVENTION DEPARTMENT

GCTC is greatly concerned with the safety and maintenance of good working conditions to prevent loss and damage to the environment, property, and people. Our safety personnel, scaffolding supervisors and inspectors, heavy equipment operators, and permit receivers are well trained and certified.

FINANCE DEPARTMENT The Finance Department handles all the collections, the disbursements, payments, accounting, recording, and funding. It serves as the auditor to all the projects. 31


ADMINISTRATION AND PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT

The aim of this department is to satisfy the projects’ personnel requirements and the personnel’s necessities while taking residence in the kingdom for the project. It is in charge with the maintenance and operations of all the labour camps. They coordinate and supervise in the deployment of workers elsewhere.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT This GCTC department handles theallreal estate development project, From early days, we had provided telecom services and telecom supporting operations business development, and marketing.

PERSONNEL In every organization, the most important asset is the people that play essential roles in the performance of the company’s functions and responsibilities. Thus, GCTC is fortunate to have highly qualified and experienced personnel. Reciprocally, GCTC has aimed to provide its employees all the basic necessities while performing their assigned tasks and at the same time equip them through trainings and seminars to enhance their capabilities. POWER SUPPLY FOR STATION NO. 633 IN SHABAB NGL1- PROJECT: [From July 2015 to September 2015, Cost = K$ 400]

GCTC scope consist of supplying station at km 633 downstream SHBAB NGL1- Pipeline with electric power. The plan is to install OHPL 55 ft. Poles and supply and install Pole Mounted Transformer. GCTC has made the challenge of accomplishing the job successfully earlier than the Initial planned schedule, and fulfilled the challenge.

Description & Personnel Qualification Providing a complete off-grid solution for powering remote cathodic protection stations. The solution includes a specially customized shelter, a power conversion system, battery banks, photovoltaic modules. All analyses, designs and specifications are prepared by technical engineers. All works are supervised by fully trained and experienced managers. The finalized solution passes check and control by qualified quality managers.
