Since International Congress in Taiwan, 2014, we let global plenary see Taiwanese people warm & kind greeting and see AIESEC in Taiwan spirit. This is the brilliant moment that we’re proud to deliver the leadership what AIESEC in Taiwan created. After the few years later till now, the membership is shrinking, the value of AIESEC is missing, also the partnership and the external recognition is missing in these years. When we look back to AIESEC this beautiful organization, what are our own identity and values can really attract young person and see us an International Platform to engage more and more young leaders in this beautiful island. This is the question challenge the MCP in the past term. In 2017, we bid APC 2018 then we failed. In 2019, we bid APLC 2019 then we failed again. Finally in 2020 virtual legislation. We bid the Asia Pacific Conference in 2021, and this moment AIESEC in Taiwan got the biding for it. And this is meaningful part of AIESEC in Taiwan after 2011 Asia Pacific Conference in Taiwan and 2014 International Congress in Taiwan. Though this is the tough moment in the world, but we still believe that 2021 is the turning points for the Asia Pacific and Taiwan to let youth raise their power to speak out and believe that cross-cultural exchange & leadership are our main value of this organization. So we really look forward to see another leader who step out to let Asia Pacific plenary see Taiwan, see AIESEC in Taiwan’s spirit and value we have. To the warriors who open and start to imagine the future of AIESEC in Asia Pacific through APC 2021.

Taiwan_ A.k.a Heart of Asia Pacific Taiwan, officially the Republic of China (ROC), is a state in East Asia. The island of Taiwan has an area of 35,808 square kilometers, with mountain ranges dominating the eastern two-thirds and plains in the western third, where its highly urbanized population is concentrated. Taipei is the capital and largest metropolitan area. When we think about Taiwan, we always think about warm and kind people, delicious food, beautiful landscape and lots of natural and historical place to discover. AIESEC in Taiwan has been in here for 55 years, with strong believe in the Essence of AIESEC. We always want to showcase in the global plenary with our own identity and our belief in young person in Taiwan can be the leaders that the world needs in near future. That’s the reason why we still here and really want to spread our impact in this entity. With these context, we hope 2021 Asia Pacific Congress would be the best conference ever and show the “Heart of Asia Pacific”

Asia Pacific Conference_ A new journey start in International Conference Experience Asia Pacific Conference is a conference that we engage youth from Asia Pacific with 21 entities to get together, discuss about the relevance for AIESEC in Asia Pacific and also the practical training to develop youth have ability to create more & better leadership experience matters. Since 2019, we start to focus on Local Committee to engage into this conference, we put more focus on network training and capacity build-up in local level. For this Asia Pacific Conference, is a new journey for AIESECers in local level to start an International Conference Experience. Hence, Asia Pacific Conference has already host in numerous entities ( last time Taiwan host in 2011). And deliver more than 10K+ youth leadership experience with external partner engage. We believe that this leadership journey will continue and Taiwan has this great responsibility to hold in 2021.
