AIESEC Guatemala together with Inguat and different NGO’s is giving you an incredible and unique opportunity. Through the program Ambassadors of GuatemalaK’tun you will develop your skills and imagination to evaluate and elaborate in marketing and administration projects of NGOs here in Guatemala.
K’tun is a mayan word that represents the development of villages by perfection of human skills to generate a global impact. The objective of of the project K’tun is to develop your skills and imagination to evaluate and elaborate in marketing and administrative projects, that will help you to become a successful entrepreneur and generate a global impact. Next to working with the other volunteers in your project, you will also have the opportunity to learn about mayan communities. These communities are known for their ability to learn and create, for which you will be able to learn about a different kind of entrepreneurship.
How? Around 15 highly motivated students are enrolled in the K’tun project. This project consists of three stages; The analysis stage, Volunteer stage, develop and learning stage: 1. Analysis stage: you will receive information about the projects and the real situation of the communities to prepare yourself for the action stage. 2. Volunteer stage: You will develop an marketing and business program in which you will focus in develop and evaluation of Mayan communities. 3. Learning Stage: Together with the other volunteers, you will organize an event for Guatemalan University Students in which you share your experiences

Travel Guatemala is one of the most beautiful countries in Central America. It is characterized by it’s amazing diversity in cultures and landscapes. You can find volcanoes, incredible lakes, maya ruins, beaches and plenty more in this country. During the weekend you will have time to travel on your own expenses with the other trainees and AIESEC volunteers. Security Sometimes Guatemala has the reputation to be an unsafe country. In general you can pass your time here in a perfectly safe way. The only thing you have to do is use some precautions and use your common sense. We will make sure that you are prepared before your trip and we will give you some tips and tricks about how to have a safe experience. Enjoy
