Introduction AIESEC India was started in 1981 by a group of ambitious young future leaders. It was a small dream that began with a desire of spreading this wonderful organization amongst the young Indian population. 30 Years later, it lives on and how! Today AIESEC India has 22 active Local Chapters across 21 cities. It has over 4000 members who facilitated over 3500 exchange experiences across different sectors in the year 2011. AIESEC India stands tall today, culminating the excitement, energy, enthusiasm, passion and ambition of these 4000 members. But, what sets it apart is not what it is made of; it’s the fact that we’re lucky to be in an India, which represents opportunity, growth, diversity, cultural harmony and an inevitable attitude of change, development and innovation. Every single individual in the organization aspires for a better tomorrow not just for themselves but for the whole world around them. As we turn 31, we wish to reach out to everyone that got us here. Generations have passed on the baton that has gained force to become an incredible youth movement in India. We are grateful to you for your contribution to the making of these glorious years of AIESEC India and are privileged to have you as part of our distinguished Alumni network. AIESEC Alumni today are present and successful in all walks of life. We are proud that AIESEC India finds a place in your success stories and are excited to meet you again so we can share your stories with the rest of the Alumni network. This is an opportunity for you to reconnect and relive AIESEC one more time. Warm Regards, All Stars Member Committee 2011-12 AIESEC India

AIESEC India | An Overview AIESEC India – the leading country in the AIESEC network since the past few years has now become the voice representing the country’s youth. The organization has evolved from being an ‘internship driven organization’ providing leadership to a ‘leadership driven organization’ providing internships. From pulling off an event called ‘Monsoon Magic’ in the 80’s with 1000 people to delivering 2 landmark International Congresses within 5 years (IC 2005 in Agra and IC 2010 in Hyderabad). IC 2010 saw the biggest Youth to business Forum held at ISB, Hyderabad and the launch of AIESEC 2015 vision, both of which are huge achievements for the organization. But some things are never meant to change. These things then become a part of what we would like to call ‘Our Legacy’. This would include AIESEC India being represented on AIESEC International. To name a few alumni: Rajiv Chandna PAI 04-05 Deepti Chadda AI VP X 08-09 Aman Jain PAI 09-10 Aditi Bhat AI VP X 09-10 Darshan Desai AI VP X 10-11 & AI VP IM 11-12 Manveer Singh Grewal AI VP Operations 11-12
Also, being recognized in the network for our achievements has been consistent in the years gone by. In the recently concluded Global Leaders Summit 2012 held in Hungary, AIESEC India was awarded with 2 highly prestigious awards: ‘Global AIESEC Sustainability Award’ for one of our social projects based on environmental protection and the ‘ING Leadership Award for Global Contribution’ for being the entity which not only looks towards growth within its operations but also contributes towards the overall success of the organization. AIESEC India has and will always stand for one thing in the years to come – Pioneering Change!

AIESEC India | 30 Years 2011 marked the 30th Anniversary of AIESEC in India. Today, where we stand is a phenomenal achievement for the organization, especially from our modest beginnings when we started. All our standings and contribution to the network and our country has been a result of combined efforts of all the Leadership of the past. We would like to thank every single member of AIESEC India in the last 30 years; after all, it takes courage, unconditional commitment, passion and most importantly perennial leadership to build a great organization! To commemorate this glorious occasion of celebrating 30 Years of Activating Youth Leadership in the country, AIESEC India held Alumni events in 3 different cities namely Mumbai, New Delhi and one in New York.
AIESEC India is hosting another alumni event in London on 3rd March 2012 so as to reconnect with alumni based in and around London. We are looking forward to host international alumni events every year with your kind support so as to engage you in the best possible manner.
