MCP Message Dear AIESECer! 2017 have truly been remarkable year for AIESEC in Italy. We raised the bar and reached for our significance within, to truly impact and change our country. But we are not done yet! We have a goal – becoming youth leadership movement and to achieve that we choose to build AIESEC that everyone will be proud of. We choose that because we believe that every member, customer and stakeholder that we work with deserves an AIESEC to be proud of. And more, we do it because we believe that Italy deserves an AIESEC to be proud of. I have always believed that your dreams should be bigger than your fears and I invite you to start this journey and express your dreams for becoming a person you have always wanted to become, while building an organization that you will be proud of. This journey won’t be easy, nor simple, but it will let you fight for your dreams and live one of the most amazing experiences of your lifetime. Stand for your VALUES & fight for your PURPOSE. MC Role The MC team of AIESEC in Italy represents AIESEC as a National association in the Global Network and Italy as a nation; the MC is meant to serve the Local Committees and to foster implementation of strategies, behaviors, driving the growth of the organization and developing the leaders that Italy needs. The team should embody, as role models, the behaviors and values that will make the change happen.
Accountability • Report weekly to the MCP and Sub-team Leader; • Report quarterly, as MC Team, to the National plenary; • Fill weekly the MC Tracking tool; Store all the informations, materials and contacts according to the IM strategy; • Being aware of the world trends; • Being constantly up to date with non AIESEC resources on functional topics.
General JD • Represent AIESEC in Italy in the National and International Conferences; • Co-create with the National Plenary the Plan for 18|19; • Create spaces and support system for the Local Committees; • Align National Strategies to Global Strategies delivering a tailored approach to LC’s; • Attend quarter Team Days, Monthly and Quarter reviews with no exceptions. • Deliver the National Education Cycle created by the OD Department.
MC in Italy Conditions Duties • MC is a full-time job. Each MCVP is expected to work 40 hours per week. • Working time is Monday to Friday, weekends are free (except of conferences and other representative duties)
• MC term officially starts on 1st August 2018 and officially ends on 31st July 2019. • Transition period will start on 15th of June 2018*. Further details will be given after the election. * For Management Team and PD team transition period may start earlier.
MC in Italy Conditions Benefits •Every MC member will receive a salary, which will be around 200 euros per month according to MC budget. •Food, accommodation and transportations in Milan are fully covered (also during transition period). •National Conferences are fully covered, both transports and food/Accommodation •Office Space is provided •WI-FI is provided both in the office and at home
Process Explanation The Member Committee of AIESEC Italia will be selected in accordance with the law and what is stated in our compendium and national statute. The process is divided in 3 parts: 1.Application: Candidates must submit a written application following the guidelines and questions presented previously. 2.Review: Candidates must undergo a process of assessment that will consist on an interview with MCP, possible extra tasks, and a open Q&A with the plenary. 3.Confidence vote & election: In order to reach the selection part of the process by the MCP, candidates must undergo a confidence vote process from the AIESEC in Italy national plenary. Application Explanation By sending this application you are applying as MC member of AIESEC in Italy. This means that all the applications will be taken in consideration for all the available positions inside the MC. There is no pre determined structure for the MC and candidates must fill in the application answering one question per each block of the Specific Questionnaire plus two of a specific block that they want to focus on. Minimum 4 general questions should be answered, choosing from the options. In total candidates must answer 4 specific questionnaire questions (one per block) + 2 more from specific questionnaire block of the candidates choosing + 4 general questionnaire questions. (10 questions) Specific Questionnaire will be divided into 4 blocks: 1.Operations 2.Organizational Development 3.Partnerships Development 4.Finance & Legal Applications need to be sent before the deadline and they have to comply with all the requirements. Every application in delay or incomplete won’t be taken in consideration.

Application Requirements THE APPLICATION PACKAGE MUST BE ONE RAR OR ZIP FILE CONTAINING ONLY PDF OR JPEG FILES. THE REQUIRED FILES ARE: •One page CV •One page Executive Summary •Fully Answered Questionnaire (10 questions), NOT EXCEEDING 10 pages + Cover page • One question per each block (minimum) 4 • 2 questions of the selected focus block • 4 general questions •Candidate Introduction Video (Maximum 5 Minutes) Video must be sent as a link on a PDF file. •3 Signed Endorsements. Current MC members endorsements will not be accepted. Endorsements can be from other entities, externals, or AIESECers. *International candidates must present a signed endorsement from their home entity MCP.

Operations (Product Management, Customer Experience and Marketing) 1. Analyze exchange performance of AIESEC in Italy in last 2 years? What is not working, what is working and what should we start working on? 2. Choose a product (iGV, oGV, oGE, oGT) and provide a complete analysis of the customer flow. What is not working, what is working, and what should we start working on? 3. Choose a product and provide a complete analysis of the international relations established in product. What is not working, what is working and what should we start working on? 4. Analyze implementation of new MoS (Complete) inside AIESEC in Italy? What are your 3 main conclusions based on the analysis? What would be your main proposals for 1819. 5. What would be your main priorities to improve network engagement and network management, ensuring that each LC grows in the product? 6. Analyze current state of B2C area in AIESEC in Italy. What are your 3 main conclusions based on the analysis? 7. What are most important internal and external marketing trends that we need to be aware of when creating strategy for 1819. How can we capitalize on it? 8. What is the role that digital marketing should be playing at each stage of customer flow? Give concrete initiatives that you would implement in your term to make this role fulfilled. 9. How can we ensure that our brand content is relevant, in era where there is content overload in all our social media networks?
Organizational Development (OD, Communication and Talent Management) 1. Analyze organizational performance and health of AIESEC in Italy and it’s LCs in 2017. What are your 3 main conclusions based on the analysis? 2. Analyze implementation channels that we use to ensure strategy implementation inside our LCs. What is not working, what is working and what should we start working on? 3. What is OD? What should be the role of OD inside AIESEC in Italy in term 1819 and how can it make the difference for the entity? 4. Analyze current organizational culture inside AIESEC in Italy. What are your 3 main conclusions based on the analysis? What should be our priorities when it comes to the organizational culture? 5. Analyze internal communication of AIESEC in Italy. What is not working, what is working and what should we start working on? 6. Analyze current expansion strategy of AIESEC in Italy. What is not working, what is working and what should we start working on? 7. Provide an analysis of the current status of expansions in AIESEC in Italy. What are your 3 main conclusions based on the analysis? 8. How would you improve the support given to expansions in the different moments of their growth? 9. After reading about the Refreshed TM Processes, analyze the Current State of Implementation of these processes in AIESEC in Italy. What are your 3 main conclusions and how would you act upon them? 10. What do you believe can be the role of TXP in terms of Team Leader Capacity Building? How would you evolve the work that is being done today? 11.
