Since the creation of AIESEC UAE back in 2001, many groups of young people worked really hard to open AIESEC Chapters in their universities and cities, and we are sure many other universities and cities have the potential to run the AIESEC operations all over UAE, considering the global leadership development experiences that can be created with AIESEC. Through this call to action, we are inviting you to take the challenge and to be part of the team that will give the UAE youth of your university, city or region the chance to get involved with AIESEC. WHY EXPAND? The expansion strategy of AIESEC UAE allows us to create a path for any Interest Group of young people to become a full Local Committee with a strong AIESEC culture and functional knowledge to sustain all our exchange products. It is also a tool for us to achieve the AIESEC 2020 ambition, which is to be accessible for everyone everywhere, while growing disruptively and shaping what we do around what society, our country and the world need.

JOB DESCRIPTION •
Ensuring leadership pipeline within Expansion managing work of teams in order to realize Expansion priorities and goals.
•
Responsibility for preparation and delivery of effective individual and term transition of EB process and quality development.
•
Ensuring high quality product delivery to all stakeholders, taking into consideration financial sustainability of Expansion.
•
Ensuring high quality product delivery to all of our stakeholders, taking into consideration financial sustainability of Expansion.
•
Negotiate with university(s) to get support towards making AIESEC more accessible.
•
Provide periodic and detailed status reports to the National team.

ROLE CRITERIA •
An Expansion Manager cannot go on AIESEC Exchange during his/her term.
•
An Expansion Manager cannot go on a School exchange during his/her term.
•
Workload: 25 hours per week–workload varies depending on the period of the term.
•
Transition will start few days after your election and will continue till the start of your term via Skype with MC.
•
As Expansion Manager it’s mandatory to attend all the National Conferences, meetings and trainings during the term.
Please bear in mind that it is highly preferred that Expansion Manager is a full time position, excluding university, having any part-time/full-time job or position outside of AIESEC will be highly considered during the selection process.
