Dear Potential Candidate, Congratulations to you for choosing to open this application. I cannot promise you a smooth journey, but know that this was designed to give you as much preparation as you could possibly need for the task ahead. As an LCP, you need to understand how your LC works and the impact and contribution each of your VPs have on your LC. You also need to keep the overall growth and development of your LC members in mind when making decisions on strategy, operations and all of your LC activities. Filling this application gives you a new perspective to understand who you are and where you could be as a person, also where your LC stands right now and the kind of impact and results you could achieve for yourselves, the entity and the UAE community. I ask that you do not shy away from the ideas you might have while filling in this application. For us as an entity, we look forward to a year of making impossibilities possible and turning roadblocks into stepping stones. For that to happen, we need individuals who are resourceful, insightful and action-oriented taking charge of our local committees and pushing our ambitions into realities. LCP 18.19 APPLICATIONS
EB Management and Development - Team identity definition. - Ensure Team Standards implementation for EB. - Performance Management for EB. - Provide learning and development environment for EB. - Conducting EB Meetings to organize team work. - Tasks delegation and tracking. - Moderating cross functional synergy. - Work with team leaders and encouraging them to have a proactive role. - Support EB in their work and to achieve personal development.
LC Operations, Planning & Tracking - Ensure alignment with global and national direction.
- Develop and implement LC strategies and vision, quarterly and yearly plans. - Final responsible for achieving LC goals.
LC Management - Manage LC Organizational Structure. - Internal reporting to LC, and external to the MC. - Implementing LC Code of Conduct. - Financial tracking & policies. - Ensure legality of LC activities.
- Ensure LC achieve Full Membership Criteria. - Ensure regularity of LC Meetings. - Setting LC atmosphere and culture.
- Maintaining motivation and commitment among LC members. - Guarantee transparency in all LC affairs.
LC Representation - Ensure good communication with fellow LCPs and the MC Team. - Promote and position the LC nationally and globally.
- Represent LC in Legislative meetings. - Downscale information to EB team and LC members.
LCP 18.19 APPLICATIONS
To apply for LCP 18.19 Position, you must know that: 1. This role starts from Feb 1st, 2018 to Jan 31st , 2019 2. Transition would start immediately after elections. 3. Candidates must have been in AIESEC for at least 3 months. 4. Candidate must have held a team leader role .
5. Candidate must submit all required documents in the application by the deadline. 6. This role requires physical availability within the UAE. In case of travel, the LCP is required to inform the MCP and assign a proxy.

1. Application Submission: the first step is to submit your application package as previously mentioned.
2. Vote of Confidence : from your LC with procedure as follows: 1. Application Publication: Your application package and manifesto would be made available to members 2. Speech: You would have 7 minutes for an opening speech, a Q & A session and a closing speech for just 3 minutes. 3. Voting: A voting process by active members of your LC.
3. Final Interview: It’s the final stage of LCP elections, where you would be interviewed by a selection panel.
This application package is in the following parts: 1. CV (max. 1 page). 2. Questionnaire (max. 10 pages). 3. 2 Endorsement Letters (one letter from someone you led and another who led you). 4. Application Video (max. 3 minutes – upload on YouTube and copy the link to video on last page of application. Record a video introducing yourself and telling us more about your motivation to apply for LCP). 5. Blank Paper Challenge (1 page, A4 – to provide your year plan for your LC). 6. Profile Picture (max. 2MB).
