For me, every new project is a reflection on events, or state, or impressions of something or someone.

Since my childhood, I have always viewed books and magazines on fashion history, explored lace, details, decoration, headgear on the pictures and photos. At the same time, growing up, I started to understand that the copy or replica will never be as valuable as the original, and the value of the artist is in his own thoughts and skills. This was how my ideas, based on love to the costume and understanding of artist’s uniqueness, were born. They are the synthesis of my knowledge, impressions, and thoughts.

Historically, baroque wigs are not only the decoration, but they are also the messages to the society, statements on the important social and political problems. But by themselves wigs are rather the logical extension of my perception of headgear. By feeling, everything that concerns the head is very intimate and personal. We don’t let everyone into the world of our own thoughts and experiences. All our conclusions are born in our head in our microcosm. So, every person is a separate universe, special mind, special thoughts that cannot be perceived and experienced in the same way by no other. This is our uniqueness and our value.

A series of baroque paper wigs will not be the last I’ll appeal to the head as a place of creating and creation. A head is like broadcast. And a wig is like its voice.
