Graduating Midgets A MESSAGE FROM THE AMHA BOARD WOW! Congratulations on graduating from minor hockey! Graduation is often a time to reflect on how much you’ve accomplished and to look forward to where you will be going. This is very true for your journey through hockey as well. Whether you have gone through minor hockey from Tykes (Timbits, U7 etc.) or started later, I am sure it has been filled with joys, like winning banners, or city championships, and hard times, like tough overtime losses or playoff losses. Where will you go from here? Will you get the opportunity to play hockey through continued education, in the juniors, or for fun with friends? I hope so! It has been an absolute pleasure to have you in our hockey family, part of Alberta Minor Hockey Association. AMHA is our athletes; it is their families; it is our volunteers, our coaches and managers; it is you. Go on to your next adventure with pride, being proud that you are what makes AMHA great. Please know that you will always have a home here in AMHA. Come back; volunteer, as a coach, on a committee, as a board member. You are always welcome! It can be so scary and exciting at the same time to move from one chapter to the next in life, but hockey has undoubtedly given you skills that will make that transition easier. Herb Brooks once said: “Great moments are born from great opportunities.” From this great moment you will have great opportunities! Congratulations, all the best to you in your future endeavors, from your hockey family!
