The clip also includes a “job interview” with Sir Richard Branson who facetimes in from his yacht. Not all the Virgin regulars present in the Clubhouse on the day seem to have been impressed. On the V-Flyers forum website, one member says that Corden, “screaming down the microphone was really annoying, and some of the inane drivel he came out with was actually embarrassing.” However, for the wider audience of millions watching it on TV and on YouTube, the whole segment was money can’t buy free advertising for Virgin Atlantic, with James Corden showing off everything from the well stocked bar to the hair salon.
