To celebrate Malaysia’s national Independence Day (31 August), Air Asia launched a campaign called ‘Your Journey, Our Passion.’

The centre-piece is a video narrated by Malaysia’s Prime Minister, Dr Mahathir Bin Mohamad and novelist and poet Dato Sri A Samad Said. Air Asia says that the “video depicts the everyday lives of Malaysians from all walks of life striving together for a better future.”

So far the video has been viewed over six million times on YouTube. In addition, the airline offered a 20% celebratory discount during the National Day celebration week.

Separately, with Air Asia being the latest A321neo customer, the airline has released a ‘sneak peek’ video showing the aircraft in the Airbus paint shop.
