~ Mrs. Candace Huber ~

Candace Huber, RN, BSN, MPH is the Director of Mission Development at Florida Hospital Waterman. This includes the development of the Conry CREATION Health Center to improve the lifestyle and overall health of Waterman’s staff and Lake County residents. Candace has a BSN in nursing and Master’s degree in Public Health, specializing in Health Education. She is both a national and international speaker, having spoken at a World Health Organization Conference in Geneva, Switzerland on Faith Community Nursing. Prior to her current position, she was the Director of Community Outreach for Florida Hospital, Orlando, developing Faith Community Nursing and Congregational Health Ministry. These endeavors included multiple projects to effect and sustain health behavior change in the community. Candace believes that the CREATION Health model is a vehicle for engaging the community in adopting healthy lifestyles wholistically. “Anyone, wherever they are on the continuum of life’s journey, can receive real health benefits by implementing the 8 principles of a healthy lifestyle described within CREATION Health – Choice, Rest, Environment, Activity, Trust, Interpersonal Relationships, Outlook, and Nutrition.” Candace has been married to Chaplain David Huber for over 40 years. They have two sons, a daughter and two grandchildren.
