Overview Evidence-based research on SRHR ensures worthwhile and valuable findings. Research plays a key role in providing evidence for individual and social interventions that advance the reproductive health of adolescent girls. Evidence-based research synthesises evidence of what works best, for whom and in which contexts. This informs the actions taken towards ASRH that could impact on long-term policy changes or formulation. However, the existence of published, relevant evidence-based research is not sufficient to ensure uptake of key findings. This section includes resources around research evidence highlighting the gaps in Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (ASRHR) and some interventions implemented.
