context
SCOR is a global company with offices across 39 countries. Volunteering has been possible for several years, this was sporadic and at a local level. And so the SCOR for Good program was born to motivate all employees around the world to participate and make their contribution to society. The program aims to create uniformity and structure at group level, while giving more visibility to the different engagement opportunities available for their people.
Juliette Sarrail Head of Engagement & HR Communication,
The Alaya platform has made it easier for us to implement our "SCOR for Good" program internationally. For our employees around the globe, being able to access and create a variety of different activities on one platform is a real advantage.

An employee purpose platform is becoming a matter of course in order to bring together all volunteer opportunities for all employees, regardless of their
With an international presence, it was essential to create a structured support framework to ensure the success of the program. A solution had to be found to ensure that the commitment of employees in each office was monitored and progressed and that they could refer to a contact person if necessary. Moreover, as all the offices were very different in terms of social commitment, it was necessary to ensure that each of them had an interest in participating. For those already active, it was a question of finding a tool that would enable them to facilitate the organisation of events, increase their visibility and provide reports on the impact generated. For others, it was a question of motivating and inspiring less active employees to take part in various volunteer initiatives and to highlight these actions.
The challenge
A network of champions and ambassadors to engage every Itemployee isessential for a program of international scope to have the support from senior management and a structure to sustainably instil the values in the company's DNA. A network of ambassadors and champions were been established. The main role of the ambassador, who is designated for a given region (EMEA, APAC, Americas), is to encourage employees to participate in the program. Next come the champions, who are key as they drive the program by seeking associations and organising volunteer activities or events. The platform has therefore enabled this network to take their program in hand and adapt it to the specific needs of each office. Alaya's all-in-one platform Alaya has enabled SCOR to bring all its employees together on an all-inone platform, allowing them to access and participate in a wide range of activities that are both local and global in Harmonisationscope. oftheir company Inpolicy order to encourage community engagement activities, such a program must be an inherent part of SCOR's corporate policy. This is why SCOR has decided to grant 1 day per year (at least) to its employees for volunteer actions.

Virtual SleepOut to support homeless youth "Every year since the SCOR team has participated in the Reinsurance Sleep Out for Covenant House, I always come away feeling that I receive as much as I give. I feel fortunate to be able to contribute to Covenant House’s efforts to help homeless young adults build the foundations of a life where they can complete their studies, have a stable job and their own home.."

"Keen to Clean" trash cleanup "I went several times with a bag under my arm during the challenge and filled it in record time, unfortunately. Three things stuck with me: the satisfaction of seeing the path cleaner behind me than it is in front of me, a beautiful educational tool for the youngest by placing solidarity action at the heart of their daily lives, new habits that I hope will last: a bag in my pocket at all times!"
