The Alestle

The Alestle is a member of the Illinois College Press Association, the Associated Collegiate Press, Society of Professional Journalists, College Newspaper Business & Advertising Managers, Online News Association, Investigative Reporters & Editors and ACES: The Society for Editing. The name Alestle is an acronym derived from the names of the three campus locations of SIUE: Alton, East St. Louis and Edwardsville.The Alestle is published on Tuesdays (online edition) and Thursdays (online and print editions) during fall and spring semesters, and on Wednesdays during summer semesters.
