You will create pre-visuals to show what your game will look like as well as a detailed document that explains all aspects of your game and what the player actually does. You will then go on to create a portion of your game, creating the component assets to be placed in a games engine. Using available equipment and software, you will explore the professional skills and techniques required to create an animation. You will manage the production from developing ideas, creating characters, backgrounds and sound tracks to creating the final animation(s). THE ASSIGNMENT & SCENARIO Taking on the role of a game designer/animator for Sleepy Brain Studios you are required create assets for your games idea as detailed within your game design document (GDD) and other development work. You will create concept art and 2D graphics in a software package such as Adobe Photoshop or MS Paint for all playable and non-playable characters, back ground environment. Including any other required assets, and sounds to a game ready state. You will produce animations for all playable and non playable characters including items where planned for.
