Crap Beer
Craft Beer
Mass produced industry names such as Carling, Carlsberg, Budweiser, Stella Artois, Coors, etc.
Brewed independently in small quantities.
Cheap ingredients such as rice to turn the beer bland and inexpensive. These ingredients make you feel bloated and full. Crap beer is recommended ice cold because this numbs the taste buds and makes it palatable. Usually consumed in large quantities with the objective to get very drunk. Crap beer is marketed on television and in print as a quality and refreshing beverage which will make models fall in love with you.
Craft beer is brewed using hand selected ingredients, specifically picked with certain flavor characteristics in mind and brewed with the goal of flavourful, quality beer. Craft beers are poured at their required temperature usually into third or half pint glasses, this allows the consumer to drink a variety of different beers without getting too drunk. Craft beer usually relies on word of mouth or it’s packaging as it’s marketing.

To my disappointment — the people pulling pints at the festival didn’t have a clue about their marketing strategies and were literally there to provide to thirsty Leeds. I was advised by several to send it as an email to the breweries and the correct person would get back to me. I guess they are busy though..

Plan of Action! Go to a brewery to pester them. Go to the North Bar and speak to them. Go to Tapped and speak to them. Find a selection of trusted online sources / journals.
