“I’m a Hoosier!” The ACPL 33rd Annual Poetry Contest Awards Ceremony The ACPL 33rd Annual Poetry Contest Awards Ceremony will take place on Saturday, December 12 at 11:00 am in the Main Library Theater, Lower Level 2. Children and young adults of all ages will read their winning poems and receive awards, provided by The Friends of the Library, in this celebration. We’ll be creating process art, which focuses on the process of making artwork instead of the product of the finished artwork. Toddlers will have lots of fun stamping, crinkling, and smearing their art supplies to create a masterpiece! While we will try to be as clean as possible, art projects have the potential to be messy, so it’s recommended that adults and little ones wear old clothes!

Everybody wants to rule the world. Here’s your chance. RISK is the classic board game of world domination, and we’re playing it in the GameChamps program series. We will play multiple games to find our Grand Champion. Snacks and drinks provided.

Grades 1 and up: Create with LEGO bricks! There will be a theme for each get together and photos will be taken of all completed LEGO structures. Feel free to bring your own LEGO bricks. And yes, there will be snacks. WOODBURN KIDS CLUB 2nd Wednesday of the month, 3:30 pm

Infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and caregivers: The first part of this program will focus on activities for infants and toddlers. The second part of the program will be for preschooler activities. Activities included in each program are fingerplays, stories of various length, and crafts. Call to check on the theme of the week. 14

Friendship Bracelets are a way to let your friends know you think of them often. We supply materials and samples of different bracelets then you design your own.
