Informations To obtain discounts, you have to be present and able to show your ID. In the cable car cabins and the shuttle buses and also in the stations dogs are obligated to wear a muzzle. The Roundtrip Ticket is included in the Skipass-Ticket. The Combi Card and the Nordic Pass are not transferable and are available at all cash desks of the Seiser Alm Aerial Cableway, at the Tourist Offices of Kastelruth, Seis am Schlern and Völs am Schlern and at your accommodation. Combi Card: Children (born after 26/11/15) and persons in wheelchairs ride free of charge. Juniors (born after 26/11/07) pay only half fare. Nordic Pass: Juniors (born after 26/11/07) pay only half fare. NATURE PARK Nature Park Schlern-Rosengarten Measuring 7,292 hectares, the Nature park is located in South Tyrol‘s western Dolomite Mountains. The park, together with the regional conservation area of the Seiser Alm, forms a single natural landscape. The Schlern, whose highest peak is the Pez (2,563m above sea level), gives this nature park its name and, together with the Santner and Euringer peaks, forms an impressive mass of mountain that is considered to be one of the landmarks of Südtirol. The mountainous woodland around Seis am Schlern, Völs am Schlern and Tiers am Rosengarten as well as the Tschamin valley belongs to the nature park. In 2003 the Nature park was extended in the local authority area of Tiers am Rosengarten. Since then the Rosengarten massif is also part of the conservation area. Wild camping is strictly prohibited in the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park and in the regional conservation area Seiser Alm.

PARKING There are several car parks/multistorey car parks available to you in all built-up areas. Please note that the parking spaces bordered in blue are subject to a charge. You can get tickets from the appropriate vending machines. All other parking spaces are free of charge. There is a spacious free bus and car park at the valley station of the Seiser Alm cable car. Shuttle Buses (Bus Route 1, 2, 3, 3A, 5, 15) The following tickets are accepted in the Shuttle Buses as a ticket: Combi Card, Seiser Alm Card Gold, Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass and all tickets of the Public Transport Services Südtirol/Alto Adige. For all other passengers: > 1-Day-ticket: 3.00 € > 3-Day-ticket: 7.00 € > 7-Day-ticket: 9.00 € The tickets are available at the Automatic Ticket Distribution, the 1-day ticket is also available at the Tourist Office of Seis am Schlern. It is not possible to purchase tickets on the shuttle buses. Children born after 26/11/15 free of charge. Public Transport Buses (Routes 170, 172, 176, 177, 179, 185) On public buses all tickets of the Public Transport Services are valid. The tickets are issued on the bus. Also the Guest card “Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass” is valid on all public services. Tickets for the Shuttle-Buses (1-day, 3-day and 7-day, Combi Card and Nordic Pass) are not accepted on public services. Children (0-5) free of charge. Cross-country skiing Dolomiti Nordic Ski

The Guest Pass facilitates holidaymakers’ the exploration of the Dolomites region Seiser Alm as well as the wider region of South Tyrol, providing a single-ticket access to all types of public transport, such as train and bus. The Guest Pass is valid for 7 days. Guests who have booked a longer stay, receive a second Guest Pass after 7 days. The Guest Pass is personal and non-transferable and needs to be voided each time you travel. Dogs don’t get the Guest Pass and have to pay the regular fare in the busses of the Public Transport Services. The transfer of dogs in the shuttle busses is free of charge. If the Guest Pass receives the stamping “unleserlich/illeggibile” (meaning “unreadable”) when it is voided, it is still valid that day. In the evening, it has to be substituted for a new Guest Pass by your accommodation.

The Seiser Alm is part of the Dolomiti NordicSki cross-country carousel. For the use of the trails a toll must be paid. TRAFFIC Traffic regulation on the Seiser Alm The road to the landscape conservation area Seiser Alm is closed to private traffic from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. During this time you can get to the Seiser Alm with the Seiser Alm Aerial Cableway or by bus. You can return from Compatsch at any time. Guests, who have booked an accomodation on the Seiser Alm, have the following special permission to use their cars: >Y ou can arrive and depart from the accomodation you have booked at any time. >D uring your stay you can drive from your hotel to Compatsch before 10.00 am and after 5.00 pm. Between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm private traffic is not allowed on the Seiser Alm. > y ou will receive your special authorization to use your car either on your arrival at the Info-Point in St. Valentin, in the Seiser Alm Tourist Office or directly from your host.

Europe’s largest cross-country skiing area ... directly in the Dolomites The wintry, snow-covered Seiser Alm is a true paradise for cross-country ski enthusiasts. The seemingly endless wide open spaces, the gently rolling hills, the sunny dells, the forest, and the meadows – and everything against the magnificent backdrop of the towering Dolomites – invite you to explore them on cross-country skis. Cross-country ski enthusiasts can choose from 80 km of courses of different levels of difficulty and different lengths: from just 1.4 kilometres for beginners up to 15,4 kilometres. Together with Val Gardena, the Seiser Alm forms a cross-country skiing area with approx. 100 km of trails. The Saltria-Monte Pana trail connects the Seiser Alm with Val Gardena, also a paradise for crosscountry skiing fans. All of the cross-country ski courses have double lanes and are prepared for skating. Also the signage is excellent: Thanks to overview maps, which can be found at all important points, cross-country skiers can easily find their way around Europe‘s largest high alpine pasture. Together with Val Gardena, the Seiser Alm is part of the largest cross-country skiing carousel in Europe, Dolomiti Nordicski, with more than 900 kilometres of trails. You can go cross-country skiing for a long time... and enjoy a varied cross-country skiing holiday in South Tyrol.

The Guest Pass facilitates holidaymakers’ exploration of the Seiser Alm holiday area as well as the wider region of South Tyrol, providing a single-ticket access to all types of public transport, such as train and bus. The following services are included: - The Shuttle Bus Service of the Dolomites Region Seiser Alm (except bus routes 10, 11 and 12) - regional and local trains from Brennero as far as Trento and from Malles to San Candido - bus services throughout the province (town, suburban and city buses) - the Renon, Colle, Maranza, Meltina and Verano cable cars - the narrow track Renon railway and the Mendola cable railway - Malles and Zernez on a Swiss Postbus service - discount on Combi Card and Nordic Pass (discount: 3 in 7 or 7 days = 2,00 €; 14 days = 4,00 €) The Guest Pass is valid for 7 days. Guests who have booked a longer stay, receive a second Guest Pass after 7 days. The Guest Pass is personal and non-transferable and need to be voided each time you travel. Dogs don‘t have the right to get the Guest Pass and have to pay the regular fare in the public bus services. The transfer of dogs in the shuttle busses is free of charge. If the Guest Pass receives the stamping unleserlich/illeggibile” (meaning “unreadable”) when it is voided, it is still valid that day. In the evening, it has to be substituted for a new Guest Pass by your accommodation.
