Value Proposition and Offerings
Why Invest in ALPFA More than ever, Latinos are key to America’s future. With social security funding in dire need, due to Baby Boomers retirement, increased longevity, and coupled with dropping fertility rates, America faces a demographic tsunami.
“We’re proud of the relationship we’ve had with ALPFA for the past eight years. Our relationship has led to student and professional ALPFA chapters in our home in Northwest Arkansas and it’s helped us attract some great talent. We are a people business, and working with ALPFA helps us be a place of opportunity for all.
Doug McMillon President and CEO of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (Walmart)
Can Latinos in the United States be the solution? From the year 2000 to 2010 there were 4.3 million fewer white individuals being born while in the same period there were 4.8 million more Latinos. If it weren’t for Hispanics and Asian (+0.8 million), the
2
economy and GDP would have suffered a direct negative blow. Given the dramatic changes in US demographics, Latinos impact in the future of America cannot be ignored. Payroll taxes fund Social Security and Latinos are young and will be driving employment
growth. In the next 5 years Latinos will drive 40% of the employment growth, and from 2020 to 2032,
Latinos will drive 75% of the employment growth. Latino labor force will grow +2.6% every year while non-Latino labor force will stay nearly flat.
How can ALPFA Strengthen America?
ALPFA’s Vision is to strengthen America by transforming the lives of over 1,000,000 Latino students, professionals and entrepreneurs by 2020.
We strengthen America by developing leaders of character, in every sector of the global economy, who lead with purpose and passion.
We are transforming the lives of our members by helping align their purpose and passion with their
vocation, introducing them to our ALPFAmilia where they establish deep authentic relationships with other Latinos, and empowering them with mentors and relevant skills to support their growth and success.

that apply metrics to assess skills and drive behavior change. This customizable tool “micro-credentials”
students with digital badges where professional mentors certify demonstrated competency, bringing their
certified leadership skills to our corporate partners seeking highly qualified Latino talent.
“If you want to be in a professional services firm and leveraging people’s knowledge, there are two things you need to do: you need to recruit the best people, and you need to attract the most diverse people. What ALPFA does is give us those things—and then some.”
Robert E. Moritz Global Chairman PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)
