How is Technology Shaping Diversity in Healthcare? Apart from theme event one which focuses on the inequity and education on medicine, theme event two focuses on the applications of technology on healthcare systems. Virtual patients, statistics analysis, information integration, etc.. The lecturers gave amazing and interactive lectures to all participants. Not only were facilities and technology mentioned, but the value of human beings in a new era was also emphasized. It’s our duty to balance the cooperation between engineers and doctors.

NFDP

National Food & Drink PARTY

by Tz-Yin Ding

NFDP is one of the most enjoyable events for delegates, acting as a golden opportunity to savor exotic delicacies and snacks from all over the world. Delegates are proud to demonstrate their own cuisines and always receive highly positive feedback. The most ecstatic moment was when the alcohol-free limitation is off, all delegates cheered and emerged into the playful atmosphere. The party also reached another climax when the crowd danced and sang along with a catchy song of the Moroccans:

“EHHHH Halawlaw law hamra khadra halawlaw”

[Definition]

“EHHHH Halawlaw law hamra khadra halawlaw”

“Hamra” = red, “Okhadra” = green

“Stik tik tik tik tik Stik tik tik tik tik” “EHHHH Halawlaw law hamra khadra halawlaw”

“Halawlaw” = sweet, awesome, beautiful (Colors of Morocco’s national flag!) “Stik!” = expression of a happy atmosphere requiring music [Special Thanks to] the Moroccan delagates dancing on the hall of Caesar

“Seize the night and shake it all off!” This slogan perfectly interprets the spirit of NFDPs. On the other hand, let’s give a big hand to all OCs and volunteers for making the party move on so smoothly! Hope you guys enjoy!

NFDP

NFDP meant "National Food & Drink Party" during the party, but, from now on, it should mean "Never Forget Dear Partners".

A Exposition Filled With Cheer and Laughter

Upon seeing the title of the session, you might feel that it’s a serious and formal one; nevertheless, it’s actually one of the most celebrated activities throughout the AM, in which all delegates exerted themselves into expressing the beauty and characteristics of their countries. Souvenirs were displayed; delegates all wearing glamorous costumes, and warmth welcome filled the whole room. As a result of the effort of SCOPE and SCORE, all medical students were granted with the opportunity to get a taste of exotic cultures and to create bonds with people all over the country. It’s not exaggerating to say that IFMSA is truly a welcoming family!

Priorities Event

IFMSA Global Priorities Event Although it’s inevitable that confined by geographical factors and other complicated reasons, all countries have their own concerns and problems; however, there is still a bigger picture for all human beings, that we should mutually make effort for changes and a brighter prospect. Above mentioned is why the IFMSA Global Priorities Event was held. In seven rooms, there were parallel sections discussing various topics. On our fan page, you could find deeper reports on two of the sessions,

“Is that Action Humanitarian” and “Building a High-quality Workplace to Reach Efficient Primary Healthcare”. It’s vital that we uphold the spirit of global citizenship and contribute to the welfare for all! .
