SCOPH NM survival kit
Welcome Dear SCOPHeroes, My name is Amal Abayed, a 22-year-old medical student in the University of Medicine of Tunis. It’s a pleasure to introduce to you, our first survival kit for the term 2017-2018. I know that this may be your first National Meeting, your second or even your fifth. But, numbers don’t matter as long as you are here, part of the family! For the last few years, I had to chance to meet a lot of people; most of them are SCOPH members who helped me through my baby steps in this committee. I still remember how excited and determined I was when I first applied for Let’s Beat Diabetes call. Today, I am the NPO with the same determination and excitment I had three years ago. I just want each one of you to feel special and work for this association the way he thinks it’s right. I promise you, you will always be granted for it on a large scale. This is the reason why: ‘‘It’s Public Health that brings us all together’’, is going to be my quote of the term! Because, if it wasn’t for Public Health, I wouldn’t be here writing down these few lines for you, and you wouldn’t be here either reading them! My National Team and I, invite you all to embark on this adventure till the end, to savour SCOPH special moments and become a SCOPHero! I hope you will find this survival kit useful and would like to thank everyone for being determined to join us on this National Meeting.
SCOPHly yours, Amal Abayed
