MESSAGE FROM THE NPO
Dear SCOPHeroes, My name is Amal Abayed, a 22-year-old medical student in the University of Medicine of Tunis. On behalf of the SCOPH National Team, it’s with great pleasure that I’m introducing to you the SCOPH sessions’ Survival Kit for our National General Assembly, Monastir 2018. Here we go, another opportunity uniting SCOPH members, coming from different LCs in one place for the third time during this tem around Public Health issues. I am writing to you these lines, not because I am obliged to fulfill a section in this Survival Kit. But, to put into words what I believe in the most: You! I firmly believe that each meeting has been a one-of-akind journey that helped not only discover the beautiful spirit of you all but also discover myself and ascertain the reason behind my ever-lasting determination to be the best version of me and give back to you, all what I have learnt through these past four years.
If you reading this, it is important to bear in mind how much your time, your efforts and your growing passion are appreciated, and how much your input matters to this association. You are the main engine of this community today and the inspiring leader of the future. So set free your imagination and unleash the spirit of creativity within yourself. Filled with unlimited motivation and Orange spirit, we chose to put the spotlights on three major issues: starting from Antimicrobial resistance, the top 01 priority of the term, to Mental health and ending with NonCommunicable Diseases. For this special occasion, I would love you all to give a big thumb-up to the wonderful Sessions’ Team who worked hard in the backstage for the past weeks in order to bring to you a whole brand new approach you will get to discover in the upcoming days. Hopefully, you will find this survival kit useful and once again, ‘It’s Public Health that brings us all together! ’ Looking forward to meeting each one of you in Monastir!
Orange love, Amal Abayed
