S U M M E R E N T E RTA I N I N G The last 18 months have made entertaining at home all but impossible but as things relax a bit, and the weather hopefully improves, we can once again enjoy having friends and family round. We have tried this month to put together a selection of ideas for making even the simplest meals look just that little bit more special. We know that you love Selbrae House as much as we do and many of their items now grace our table. I can recommend the boards for that nice cheese selection! Spain is known to be the home of Tapas and Sargadelos certainly know all about having serving items that add a little bit of Mediterranean style to your table. The Mepra ranges with their different handles are a great way of ensuring everyone knows which is their cutlery, and they are great quality too. A white roasting dish may not be the most exciting thing in the world but once you have tried the Revol ranges you will know that not all white dishes are the same. The thick base and high-quality glaze ensure they keep their heat on the table and clean easily. Mermaid, as I have said before, has been a staple in our kitchen long before Goviers and so we have been trialling the Samuel Groves range of pans from the same company, all made in Birmingham. We are converted. Solid and giving that made to last a lifetime feel I am waiting for an excuse to add to my collection. Dora has been one of the most popular new ranges that we have added this year. The detail in these pieces is extraordinary and we have learnt that many of our customers were already collectors. We can see why. I hope that the summer weather and the easing of restrictions allow us all to get back to a little more socialising, in my case that means lots of cooking, and lots of mess. I had to add that before Janet did! I hope you enjoy being with Goviers at Home.
