Lifestyle meets Angie Savory who has lived in Cyprus since 2012. She runs Fatcats mobility as well as being an avid animal rights campaigner Tell us about your disability business After holidaying for years here, some friends wanted to visit with their two sons who have Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy (similar to ALS), I realised how difficult travelling with a disability was and I vowed that when I moved here, after making a decision to end my Intensive Care Nursing carer in UK, that I would make a difference. I offer a unique service in Eastern Cyprus, offering

short and long term *rental of disABILITY and mobility equipment, to both tourists and travellers, *a palliative care bed rental package, *sales of new and used equipment plus a *repair service i am licensed to teach first aid here, and will be aiming to start a *carers and home help service in the future. My purpose is to encourage more people with additional needs to enjoy this beautiful island, and to assist people when

they auffer accidents or lmife changing health. You rescue dogs, how many do you have now and how many have you rescued over the years? Currently I have 6 of my own dogs, of which only one is an original family pet from UK, the others have come to me from being abandoned or from other rescue requests, or simply dumped or tied at my home. I have 6 dogs for adoption at the moment I have rehomed an average of 5 dogs per year and they can be adopted in Cyprus after application and home check, others have gone to Los Angeles, UK, Germany.
