Hello June O
h joyful June! Summer is finally here.
As I am writing this I am packing for Los Angeles. I am spending the first week of the month on a recce of my first fashion show in tinseltown. It has been a vision of mine for 30 years to do something like this and a flippant conversation in December sparked a decision to just go for it. I plan to meet fashion designers and creatives interested in getting involved, as well as looking at the venue: the iconic Catch One club.
or simply a bucket list event ticked off. Whatever happens, I am showing my children that adventure await us at any age and that being married with kids is not an excuse to stop believing and more importantly stop actioning a plan. Thoughts become things and I am not going to be one of those people who say “I wish I did…..” I am doing it. We only regret the chances we don’t take.
Plans for the Positive Awards are underway and it’s incredible to read the stories of so many inspirational people. If you Life is all about exploring, learning and leaping into know someone who has had an unknown situations to enhance impact on your life then go to www.positiveawards.co.uk personal growth. nominate them. These people deserve a night to be applauded. As always there’s lots of fabulous events going on around the region, my favourite is the Africa Oye festival in Sefton Park. Whatever you’re doing this month, be kind and count your blessings.

DIARY
RADIO & TV PRESENTER. SASSY MUM & SOCIALITE.
C L A I R E Hello! It's only when I write this and realise I have to leave about 10 things out that I realise how busy actually am. So here we are – almost halfway through 2019 and don’t feel like I’ve stopped for breath! I hosted the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Star Awards with Andy Gill at The Hilton. Having lost my own dad to lung cancer was an emotional evening hearing the incredible and heartbreaking stories of the winners and nominees, without their help and support through fund raising this charity would not be able to continue their research into the early detection of this terrible disease. 8 years ago my friend Lorraine set up the Benjamin Gautrey Foundation having lost her son Ben in a tragic accident and has channelled her energies
S I M M O into raising over £360,000 to grant youngsters in sports money and sponsorships to further their sporting careers, so it was an honour as always to host the dinner for the 8th time which has now grown over the years and was held at the Titanic Hotel. Made even more special as my daughter Melodie was dancing as part of the entertainment with her dance school Adam Brown Dance Company. I Had a fabulous few days at Everton doing the stadium announcing for Play on the Pitch bringing teams who register to play 90 minutes at Goodison which again is a fantastic opportunity then a Q&A in The Winslow with Steven Pienaar & Ronnie Goodlass! I also hosted Everton Staff Awards at the Camp & Furnace for the 2nd
year running and it really does prove what a family Everton are when working for them. Regardless of who you support, thanks to Suzie Parker and her team – they really know how to make people feel part of the club and their hospitality to visitors is second to none. Cash for Kids held their first Sports Challenge campaign – a whopping £52000 was granted out on the evening. I did however – have one night off this month .. to celebrate long overdue birthday celebrations.. cocktails at The Panoramic, and an overnight stay (not working!!) at the Hilton.. some things really are worth waiting for. 15

GARDEN IN MEMORY OF DIANNE OXBERRY AT RHS FLOWER SHOW TATTON PARK BBC North West Tonight giving local cancer charities the chance to win the garden.
A
garden specially designed in memory of BBC North West Tonight weather presenter Dianne Oxberry is to be built at the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park this summer. The NWT Sunshine Garden in memory of Dianne Oxberry is being designed by award-winning West Lancashire gardener ‘Garden Ninja’, otherwise known as Lee Burkhill. The garden’s theme is to be sunshine and sunny days in memory of Dianne whose warmth and sunny disposition lit up so many lives. Dianne died from ovarian cancer earlier this year. The garden will then go on to be donated to a cancer charity as part of a BBC North West Tonight competition. 16
Cancer charities across the North West helping people living with cancer or those affected by cancer, particularly hospices or bereavement charities, are being invited to apply to win the garden once the flower show comes to a close. The chosen charity will also be given the chance to help build the NWT Sunshine Garden at the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park this July, working alongside garden designer Lee, who is from Lathom near Ormskirk. Ian Hindle, Dianne Oxberry’s husband, said: “Creating the sunshine garden in honour of Dianne is absolutely fantastic because that’s who she was on the telly and also at home, she was always
bright and cheerful and even when she had to deliver the worst weather bulletins, she still did it with a smile on her face.” “The outdoors is where Dianne really thrived, she enjoyed going for walks with the dogs, or riding a horse or just going out with the family. The sunshine garden is a fantastic tribute to her and will hopefully brighten up the lives of everybody but especially those who might be suffering from cancer.” A judging panel comprised of RHS and BBC personnel will decide on the winner and an announcement will be made at 18:30 on Friday 14 June during BBC North West Tonight.

“Being fostered completely turned my life around. Having someone who was always there for me every day, made me feel important and helped me realise my potential” Bianca
H
ow a Liverpool teenager’s life was transformed by her foster family at the age of 16 is the subject of a two minute film in a new campaign to promote foster carers. Bianca, now 19, is about to embark on a university education - an achievement unimaginable just a few short years ago. Foster Care Fortnight which took place at the end of May is a national campaign organised by Fostering Network, the UK’s leading Fostering Charity. This year’s theme is ‘Change a Future’ and Liverpool City Council is sharing Bianca’s story as
20
a care leaver to show how fostering can transform a young person’s life. Bianca said “Being fostered has completely turned my life around, I was given the opportunity to focus on myself which allowed me to become a person I’m proud of. Having someone who was always there for me every day, made me feel important and helped me realise my potential” Liverpool Foster carers do not pay Council Tax and families also get free membership of the city’s Lifestyles Fitness Centres. You need to be aged over 21, but there is no upper age limit and can be single, married or cohabiting, and of any sexual orientation.
People interested in fostering can visit www. fostering.liverpool.gov. uk, call the fostering team on 0151 515 0000 or follow the Fostering Service on Facebook. Steve Reddy, Director for Children’s and Young Peoples Services said: “Fostering transforms the lives of vulnerable children across Liverpool, so we want to talk to everyone across the city about promoting foster care. We need to provide more local authority foster care provision, to ensure we are looking after children in their communities, so they can maintain their connections, education and friendships”.

Battle of the Atlantic heroes honoured with plaque A PERMANENT memorial to the Merchant Navy heroes of the Battle of the Atlantic has been unveiled by the Lord Mayor at Liverpool Town Hall.
A
plaque bearing the names of some of the 3,500 vessels that were lost from the merchant fleet will now have a permanent home in the city. It will also serve as a memorial to the 36,000 Allied merchant sailors who lost their lives on the convoys that brought vital supplies to Britain during the Second World War. The plaque was created by Neville Greenhalgh and was presented to the Merchant Navy Association. It was decided to present it to Liverpool due to the role the city’s port played receiving supplies brought via the treacherous North Atlantic Arctic convoys from New York and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
22
The Rector of Liverpool Rev Dr Crispin Pailing will lead prayers at Friday’s ceremony and there will also be a speech by Bill Anderson, chairman of the Merseyside branch of the Merchant Navy Association. The Battle of the Atlantic was the longest campaign of the Second World War, running from the declaration of war in September 1939 until the defeat of Nazi Germany in May 1945. The Merchant Navy at the time was the largest formal merchant fleet in the world and sailors from across the Commonwealth and other nations, including Ireland and China, all sailed under the Red Ensign. The City of Liverpool has previously honoured
its Battle of the Atlantic heroes when they were awarded the Freedom of the City in 2003. Lord Mayor of Liverpool Cllr Christine Banks said: “The Merchant Navy was truly Britain’s lifeline during the Second World War and it is important that the Town Hall of this maritime city should be home to this permanent memorial.” “We should never forget the vital role these heroes played. The plaque will act as a reminder both of their tremendous achievements and the huge losses and hardships they endured.” “They are truly the forgotten heroes of the Second World War. Without them, many of us wouldn’t be here today.”

Gary Barker Lifestyle chats to...
How has your life changed since auditioning in the X-factor? Well since my 2017 my life has been amazing I've met some truly inspirational people I've sang all in places such as Abu Dhabi, Croatia around Spain and then all over the UK and luckily enough I've been able to bring my family along on most of my trips abroad so they get to enjoy the journey as well as me. 24
What was it like for you when you left the series? It was quite surreal really getting stopped a lot for pictures, meeting real life celebrities who knew who I was, people I look upto then it slows down a little until I released my debut single (Dreams Come True) which went straight in at number 1 in the country charts which was the biggest shock I've ever had in my life!!!!
Has it opened any doors for you? Yes I would say its helped and hindered me and my career. Don't get me wrong when you first come out, your booked for everything and invited to everything but as I've been doing this for a long time I think the regular person who would usually look to book me for a party or event automatically think I will have put my price up to
something crazy which is a lie. I have also done my first panto (Prince Charming in Cinderella) for Dreamworld Entertainments Ltd in the Gladstone theatre in Port Sunlight, which was brilliant and totally out of my comfort zone but the directors and cast members were brilliant with me. When did you discover you were a great singer? Great singer????? I'm not sure about that! But I've sang from a really young age, I think I was about 7 or 8 when I came runner up in the variety club of Great Britain so music has always been a big passion of mine but not the first, it was always football growing up I wasn't really bothered about singing in my teenage years until I hit about 17 then I started doing karaoke gigs but not letting anyone up hahaha. I suppose I was just learning my eventual trade hahaha so from then I've never looked back.
Tell us about your move to Vegas? I wouldn't say a move, I've been given the opportunity to go and perform at the Saxe Theater Planet Hollywood I fly out on the 26th May. Now being from a family of singers including my musical hero my grandad, to be able to perform in the mecca of show business I know he will be looking down on me now saying you lucky git hahahaha. My family are hugely proud of me, not only will I be singing, I'm going to be hosting the showcase for Smile Productions which is a Liverpool based company who have hit huge heights in the US. So a massive thank you to Sharon and the team for their belief in my scouse accent over there (I hope they understand me) haha. Have you any unfulfilled ambitions? I Would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart you have got me to where I am today and if it wasn't for your continued support I wouldn't have achieved half of what I have done whether it's people who have booked me for a gig, bought my music or even just stopped me for a chat, you have made a lot of my dreams come true (no pun intended) and also my families so I promise once I'm back from Vegas and get a release date for the new single,I'm going to do a big release party and invite you all!

According to a survey released to mark the launch of Patatam.co.uk, which aims to encourage more ethical shopping habits by buying and selling on Brits’ quality preloved clothing by high street brands, the average 26
British woman has approximately £504 worth of unwanted items in their wardrobe. British women are currently holding onto approximately 13 items which they either no longer want or fit into, worth an average of £36. The research suggested that – for many – hoarding clothes in this way is often due to sentimental factors, with more than 1 in 6 saying old clothes will remind them of a specific place, person or experience. And almost 1 in 5 say they will hold onto items which no longer fit in the hope that they will eventually be able to squeeze back into them. However, the research shows that awareness of more responsible fashion
practices are growing – as 92% said they’d prefer to sell these kinds of items on to someone else, rather than simply throwing them away. But for many, not having the time to do so or not wanting to deal with members of the public puts them off. This news comes as an estimated 235 million items of unwanted clothing went to landfill in 2017, and a growing number of services – like Patatam – are being established to avoid this, and make selling on clothing easier than ever before. Appetite for second hand clothing is also increasing – more women than ever are willing to shop more responsibly, with 64% saying they’d happily buy second hand and preloved items, up from 45% in 2016. visit www.patatam.co.uk

5 minutes with Richard Cowan, owner of streetstyle brand Twisted Couture. How did you get into fashion design?
I spent my time totally bored trading small home appliances, I realised there has to be more to life than this, I needed to use my artistry, creativity, imagination & find my purpose. As a young lad I worked as Saturday staff for a well known menswear store, I knew at some point an opportunity would arise to create my own.
Is there a story behind the name?
The designs came first before the name, however it was a fitting tribute to best describe what it says on the tin.....
Who would you love to see wearing Twisted Couture? David Beckham -still cool Jason Statham - proper dude Kate Moss - still gorgeous
Why t-shirts?
I decided on tee shirts as its the obvious garment to show off cool, funky & unique designs & separate you from the usual high street norm.
What have been your influences with your brand?
I studied ART at school and found myself magnetised to the surrealism of Dali, wonders of Esher & abstract of Picasso. Slightly strange, weird but totally wonderful. 30

Last month Lifestyle magazine was invited to Lanzarote Retreats’ Eco village, Finca De Arrieta. Amanda Moss travelled with her husband, Simon for the four day trip.
L
anzarote is not my first choice of destination, last time I went was 16 years ago; pregnant and with 2 children under 2. For the first time in 18 years Simon and I left the kids at home to look forward to complete peace and quiet. Which is what we got. It was a very easy flight from John Lennon Airport to Arricefe and resort manager, Josh met us in his transfer minibus with a bottle of cava to greet us which was a nice touch even if I am not a big drinker. Roads are much better than in the UK, probably because there’s a fraction of the traffic but it was pitch black and difficult to see where we were going. Twenty
34
minutes later, however we arrived at the tranquil eco village that is Lanzarote Retreats. It’s a small private enlosure made up of 16 yurts, log cabins and eco villas. They are very modern and set in beautiful manicured gardens. Everything is designed with saving the planet in mind. All waste food was to be fed to the chickens or donkeys. Water from the shower was requested to be saved in buckets and poured over the flowers and plants. Disappointingly there was no wifi in our individual accomodation. This could only be found in the office and communal lounge.
Amanda Moss amanda@amandamosspr.uk
Lanzarote retreats is a wonderful example of sustainable and responsible tourism. It is not heavily advertised, relying on word of mouth. I absolutely loved sleeping in the Mongolian yurt, it was refreshing to be stripped back to the bare minimum yet no expense was spared on the attention to detail of the furnishings. Each separate accommodation is set in it’s own enclosure with sunbeds, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Some have outdoor hammocks and beds for larger groups. We had a small welcome pack of essentials tea and coffee and biscuits and milk. You can upgrade to
an organic hamper of food but at 90 euros I thought it was a little steep, especially when there is a supermarket in walking distance. What I did love was the Honesty Shop next to the office, which was stacked with all the essentials. Fresh bread rolls at 50c, milk, cheese, salami, toiletries, wine etc. You wrote down what your took on a board and either paid by leaving cash in the money box or paying at the end of the stay. There are some wonderful personal touches, such as offering guests to plant small cacti in the communal gardens with a little note and expectation to return in the future to see how it has grown. On the first day we woke up to a chilly wind and thick clouds. We were given a company hybrid (of course) to explore. We had prebooked a trip on a submarine in Puerto Calero, about half an hour’s drive away. This was rather disappointing, we went on a submarine and they predictably played the Beatles’ Yellow Submarine.
By late afternoon we headed back to our Finca and went for a leisurely walk along the beach. In Arriettaa there is little to do except walk to a small promenade of 3 beachside restaurants. The next day we weaved 400m up a mountain and found the most beautiful scenic spot of Mirador del Rio. Although terrified
of heights it was another perfect place to meditate and offer gratitude for my life. The windy mountain roads were quite worrying but Simon handled them with expert ease. By afternoon we hd made it down to the main tourist resort of Puerto Carmen. Here I felt more at home with the promenade lined cafes, bars and shops.
By day three we were easing more comfortably into the solitude of the resort. We got up late, something that is aliment to me! We drove to Costa Tequise where we had stayed 16 years ago. It felt good to know that even back then I had good taste in picking smart hotels. We spent the afternoon back at our finca, sunbathing in our private garden and reading. It was lovely and relaxing but by evening we were starving. We drove for an hour to look for a restaurant and drove through a couple of villages but it was like an apoloypse with shutters closed on windows and not a soul to be seen. Personally I like a little more life in my holiday When I am on holiday I like an early morning swim and it was a huge disappointment to find the pool so tiny and barely room for more than two people in it. Had it been the height of summer and much hotter I would have found this quite frustrating. On the plus side it’s a perfect place to meditate, to be mindful and be present and I am grateful for the opportunity to have experienced it.

I speak across the UK and Europe as a keynote speaker to audiences of managers and leaders from business.
It’s 1994. I am stood in the car park of a large Chemical Company waiting for a Red Ferrari to arrive to collect a friend of mine and whisk him away from work for the very last time ... he was about to retire.
N
ot that big a deal I suppose, people retire every day. The thing with this retirement was that the person in question was Bob and Bob was just 39 years old. I was 27, ambitious and looking to progress in my career. I wanted to be successful and who better to ask than someone who had been there and done it . So I ask Bob what it takes to be successful and retire early. One thing he said stood out and stands the test of time to this day. When you’re working think and focus on work ... when you’re with your family think and focus on your family ... when you’re on holiday, think and focus on
36
your holiday ... when you’re fishing, focus on fishing (not sure about that, but it’s what he said, he was clearly a fishermen). I was gobsmacked at the simplicity of this message. I was expecting great wisdom and he tells me this. He went on to say that most people are so busy that their minds are always somewhere else. Sunday night thinking about work on Monday. Friday at work thinking about being home for the weekend and so on. He said multi-tasking is over rated and isn’t efficient. He was describing the state of ‘Being Present’ ... always being in the moment.
So my question is how Present are you? You don’t live in the past or the future, you live in the present so allow your mind to be in the present. We can all be guilty of thinking so much about the future that the present just drifts along. There is a chance we will look back on NOW ... and long to be back there. Well we have NOW, NOW. Mindfulness encourages you do this ... enjoy the time you have right now ... being Present. Appreciating your family whilst you are with them, appreciating your friends whilst you are with them ... and most importantly appreciating yourself in the NOW.

It has to be eaten quickly before the middle of the base goes soggy with the fresh tomato sauce but that’s not a problem. We went for lunch mid week and found a table by the window so we could

Very reasonably priced at under £7.50 this is a perfect pitstop for lunch to dinner and I will certainly taking my kids here on a Saturday after a shopping trip rather than scouring Liverpool One for a cheap burger. I ordered the tiramisu, again a generous portion but tasted a bit bland, more cream than coffee so I added it to my latte for a sweet tweet. Delicious fast food pizza, it certainly hit the spot. O
ur end of year Christmas knees up has become something else, a gathering of the clans for those who want joy, tears, rabble rousing, fun and dancing at their concerts. This will be our 6th year and it's just gotten bigger & bigger, people come in from all over Europe for the madness. Our 15 piece band includes a 4 piece horn section so we can really do my old Pele songs like 'Raid The Palace', 'Fireworks' & 'Fair Blows The Wind For France' justice, and our number 1 hit in South
Africa 'Megalomania' (we refused to break the cultural boycott and cash in on the success). This year will be extra special because our new album HERE I LIE has been getting the best reviews of my entire career. This set of songs has really hit home with a lot of people, which is both an honour and a relief. From Elvis Costello to Chris Addison to the Daily Mirror they are telling me it's our masterpiece. Our show always has songs from my entire career, so in with the Pele you'll get my most loved Amsterdam
songs. 'Home' being the fan favourite and mass singalong, and of course no show would be complete without 'Does This Train Stop On Merseyside' played in Liverpool itself, at Christmas time, it's always very special (and tearful). We aim to hit the highs and intensity and sheer levels of entertainment of my hero, in fact nothing makes me happier than when a review labels me the Scouse Springsteen, I'm gone for days! There's always a few musical surprises up our sleeve too, anything might happen, the party usually lasts long into the night afterwards, you're invited to that too if you like! presents

UB40 - Band Member: Astro Your last album ‘A Real Labour Of Love’ reached No.2 when it was released last year. Were you happy with the reception the album received? Of course, how could we not be happy with it? 40 years in the business and still being recognised. It’s what we set out to achieve but ultimately it’s the public who decide if your work is a masterpiece or a flop. Labour of Love is over 30 odd years old – did anything change in how you approached this album in comparison to when you were first writing it? No because the principle remained the same. With the original
46
three Labour of Love albums, we were always asked, “how come 8 guys from Birmingham chose to play Reggae music?” Our way of answering is still the same. These are the songs we grew up listening to that made us love Reggae, and made us want to become musicians. Have you seen a massive change in technology in terms of which instruments you’re using to create your sounds? We’re old school so we still use traditional equipment, but obviously everything is computer driven these days, especially in studios, mixing and engineering. It’s one of those things where you have to learn to adapt or you die.
40 years is a long time for people to still be in the music game, did you think you would last? Not at all. We were all very arrogant, we believed that we would be successful but thought we’d have the music business all wrapped up in 5 years and retired! What do you find is your biggest motivation to keep going, keep performing? Reggae and music;it’s my passion, my love, and I live to be on stage. I’ve got the attention span of an ant, so in a live situation that’s where I’m happiest. So, you’re playing Aintree Racecourse on 14th of June. Are you looking forward to it? I certainly am! We played there a couple of years ago, and we had a blast. As long as the weather is beautiful then it’s going to be a cracking day. It’ll be a great day for the families, too. That’s the only thing wrong with England, is that you can never rely on the weather. It’s the only country where you can get all four seasons in one day.

Craig Phillips’Monthly D IY We lco me Life sty le Rea der s...
Hello Lifestyle readers, After two months of fully embracing parenthood, myself and Laura had our first baby-free night out! The first-time leaving Nelly was always going to be difficult, but it’s so important for parents to take a break now and then to recharge. May also marked the 30th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster and those that have been reading this column for a while now will know that I always take part in the Run for the 96 event in Liverpool. The annual fun run sees people from across the country come together to run, or walk, 5k in memory of the 96 people who lost their lives in the tragedy. This year the Phillips’ clan were out in full force supporting the event as myself, Laura, Nelly and our dog Sydney, all took part. We walked the course and got lots of laughs and support from everyone along the way. The event has been running for five years now and each year the atmosphere gets more and more electric. It’s not been all play and no work though as I also had the pleasure of attending the FIT Show in Birmingham which is the UK’s only window and door trade show. The three-day event took place at the NEC, Birmingham and I was representing Eurocell at their stand. We were one of 300 exhibitors there and had a fantastic time showcasing new product launches. I look forward to checking back in with you all in what will officially be Summer!
Cra ig’ s Mon tlhy Tip
Fitting a hanging basket bracket Hanging baskets can add an extra appeal to the exterior of your home or garden walls and brighten things up for spring and summer. Start off with a spirit level and pencil marking where you want the bracket to go. Using your pencil, mark up both holes (some larger brackets will require three holes). Take your 18V hammer action drill driver and ensure hammer action setting is in place. Top tip: drilling into the centre of the brick, rather than into the mortar between the bricks, is a more secure option. Using a masonry drill bit, drill two 6mm holes, apply two brown 6mm raw plugs and tap them in with a hammer so they are flush to the brick. Place your bracket back over the prepared area and using two 50mm screws, drive in through the bracket holes firmly securing it to the wall.

How does it feel performing to young fans having their first experience of a live concert? It's wonderful! I’m always shocked at how many people know the music that I’ve worked on. It blows me away.
see one of his shows, went backstage to meet him and it was a mutual connection almost right away. We booked studio time right away, a couple of weeks later, and we were friends up until his unfortunate ending.
When you’re working with brand new artists who haven’t necessarily had that much exposure, they must be keen to learn from one of the greats! Believe me when I tell you it’s reciprocal! I wrote a song the other day, I wrote the bassline, and I said ‘you know what, before I go any further, I’m going to give this to these two young girls that I met the other day who just had a flare, for writing really cool melodies’ and it was very similar to when I met Avicii. I met him one night, he was already a big star, I went to
I’m just really impressed with the level of talent that’s out there in today’s world, and its because they’ve become so computer savvy when it comes to working with technical gear that they don’t have to spend all the years that I’ve spent going to music school and learning theory and so on. Most people that I know that are really really big stars don’t actually even understand the fundamentals of music theory, they are just somehow able to make great music because they can step on the gear and
do what they need to create and it’s wonderful. With your ‘It’s About Time’ Album; you championed such a wealth of British talent on there from Nao to Emeli Sandé and Craig David. Am I right in saying that that ‘It’s About Time’ was Chapter One, and you’re working on a Chapter Two to essentially bring in the new era of Chic? Yes. You have it exactly correct and also the fact that I am spending so much time at Abbey Road; that’s become sort of my new home base and I felt like, let me paint a musical picture that’s a more accurate reflection of my current life. At first I started out with a different concept but I love working with these people and its just great.
So is it fair to say that the music of Britain is going to get reflected in the next album as a lot of it will be recorded here? You know, who knows what I’m going to be doing, but it has to on some level because I have already created some stuff that’s great! At least the music feels great to me. And also what the Dua sessions have taught me, it’s re-taught me again how much fun we have when we just walk into the studio as a band, as Chic rhythm section and just go in and play. What can they expect from your show? Fun. People tell us that the happiness seems to last.
Like after the show is over you’re still happy the next day! You’re still thinking about ‘man we had a blast last week’. I see on social media sometimes, people say things like ‘my feet are still hurting from 2 weeks ago when I went dancing to Chic all night.’ We were in the studio the other day with Rudimental and I said, I don’t think there’s anywhere I can go on the planet where I
can’t go ‘1,2, aaaah’ and then they go ‘freak out’’. It’s the funniest thing. Every country. And every generation. Everyone knows the songs and has an amazing time.
