DEBUT COLLECTION
+PURPOSE
S TAT E M E N T The Elizabeth Roberts outerwear collection weaves together passion, imagination, intuition, and enchantment to yield eight mighty silhouettes for today’s heroine. Truth, beauty, armor are the guiding principles that wrought these shapes for women who, not unlike the historical heroines they are named after, are moved to make our world collectively a better place. So, each day as we ceremonially clad ourselves in armor to enable us to move, manage, preserve, and thrive, take joy in knowing that these pieces were inspired with women like you in mind to take charge. These silhouettes are named aptly after women of historic significance who represent tenants of the brand. Confident, dignified and graceful, each an ardent follower of truth in her lifetime and a believer in her capabilities to discover ways to change; each a fierce and courageous, yet peaceful and skilled mediator. Come put on your armor and discover the heroine in you.

+ISABEL
NEVILLE
The Isabel Neville is a cap-sleeved
microfiber vest with a peplum skirt and beautiful quilting detail. Delicate and
feminine in its design, whether on its own or layered, this vest helps you face your day with grace and style.
+
+ISABEL
NEVILLE
Isabel Neville, sister of Queen Anne Neville,
was Duchess of Clarence in fifteenth century England. She fell in love with George
Plantagenet, heir to the throne of England. Despite the king opposing the marriage,
Isabel and George fled secretly to France and tied the knot in 1469. Knowing that
her father wanted to use her position to
gain power, Isabel and George deciced to
relinquish their claims to the English crown. Since she didn’t have to spend time in
court, Isabel enjoyed more freedom with
her clothing. Our take being in line with the fashions of the day, which featured corsets and hooped skirts, we allow Isabel to have more freedom with her clothes by giving her short sleeves.
+
+ANNE
NEVILLE
The Anne Neville, Isabel Neville’s long-
sleeved counterpart, features a peplum skirt and bell sleeves that make for a
striking silhouette. It is functional for a
sleek and chic getaway or whatever the day brings your way.
+
+ANNE
NEVILLE
Queen of England during the late 1400’s, Lady Anne Neville was saddled with a
lifetime of political maneuvering during the War of the Roses. Remembered as unique
and powerful for her ability to stay true to herself in the face of adversity, marry for
love, and for maintaining her compassion for others, Anne was the definition of flexibility. As a queen, Anne had to adhere to a strict
dress code that dictated cinched waistlines and hooped skirts. We embrace this dictum
in our powerful Anne Neville coat, reflecting the fashions of the time with both comfort and beauty.
+
+MARION
The Marion is a down-filled, cropped
hooded jacket with a unique and dynamic silhouette. Its overstuffed shape forms
a bold profile and acts like a protective
shield from the elements. Marion is made with a distinctive French microfiber of exquisite softness and quality.
+
+MARION
Maid Marion is the lover of Robin Hood, a legendary forest-dwelling outlaw in old
English folklore. Though her father is a rich nobleman, Marion has a tomboy character
and thirst for adventure. Her favorite thing to do with Robin is go hunting, and the
Marion coat would be the perfect hunting jacket. The cropped silhouette and bell sleeves would keep Marion warm and
comfortable while allowing her full range of movement to use her bow and arrows.
The collar and oversized hood reflect the versatile style of cloak maidens of the
day could wear to either court events and parties at the palace or to sneak into the woods.
+
+OLGA
OF KIEV
The longer, leaner counterpart to the
Isabel and Anne Neville, Olga of Kiev is
the pinnacle of modern modesty. This long microfiber coat complete with a quilted
skirt is sleek and chic without showing too much skin, perfect for colder weather.
+
+OLGA
OF KIEV
Olga of Kiev ruled over Kievan Rus’, a
loose confederation of East Slavic tribes, during the 900’s. She is known for her
military prowess and conscientiousness in the political arena. Being very religious, Olga kept herself covered up, and her
clothes featured modest necklines, which
is reflected in the Olga of Kiev coat’s high neckline. The coat, fashioned from quilted microfiber, would have helped Olga stay
warm as she held court or raced into battle against rival tribes. Though her style of
dress was conservative, this warrior woman kept her outfits practical and feminine with
long flared skirts, a feature also highlighted in the Olga of Kiev coat.

down filled jacket. The coat’s length and exaggerated, down-filled channels are designed to keep you warm. The coat
harkens back to medieval armor, designed to keep you safe and comfortable throughout the day.
+
+ETHELFLEDA
Ethelfleda, the last queen of Mercia in the early 900’s, took control of the kingdom when her husband died. She is known
for her military prowess and her skilled
construction of many forts used to protect her territory from the invading Vikings. Since she was in charge of both the
kingdom and the war with the Norsemen, Ethelfleda dressed in simple, military
inspired clothing, featuring long chain
mail shirts that fell to mid-thigh, a length
that is reflected in the coat. Her wardrobe was utilitarian and versatile, and that
same essence is what inspired the clean, modern design of the Ethelfleda jacket.

+JULIET
The Juliet, a cropped jacket fashioned
in lamb’s leather, features a high collar and slight doublette detail. It is the
convergence of exquisite femininity and
fierce functionality. On the axis of luxury and versatility, the Juliet is a staple for the forward-thinking woman.
+
+JULIET
Juliet Capulet is the protagonist of William Shakespeare’s tragedy, Romeo and Juliet. In five days, the 14-year-old is thrust into the realm of adulthood, where she must deal with issues of life, death, love, and betrayal. Juliet is intelligent, a skilled
peacemaker, and known for her maturity
and respect for her family, for although she defies their wishes by loving Romeo, she
does her best to avoid dishonoring them. Living in the Elizabethan Era, Juliet wears high collars, corsets, and hooped skirts.
This jacket would be ideal for her because the snug fit shows off her waist, while the
cropped length keeps her skirts from being crushed.

Japanese history. She is remembered for
her unwavering loyalty, incredible bravery, and strong independence. She lived in a
man’s world, donning traditional samurai
armor to protect her country’s aristocracy from usurpers. The Tomoe Gozen coat, as a tribute to her strength and grace, features pieces reminiscent of samurai

protected the stomach and hips in battle, and a lining that can be worn inside out, giving multiple functions and looks in a single piece.
