Foreword Abinee – Brazilian Electrical and Electronics Industry Association – was founded in 1963. Our mission is to ensure the competitive development of the Brazilian electrical and electronics sector as well as defending its legitimate interests and promoting the integration in the community.

Components; Electrical and Electronic

Abinee comprises nearly 600 member companies, from national and foreign capital, ranging from different sizes and segments, providing support to the members develop their activities.

Due to the wide range of production segments, the industry is divided into ten different areas: Computers; Electrical and Electronic

The purpose of this Economic Overview is to present the electrical and electronics sector figures from 2006 to 2013, and macroeconomic and social indicators, in order to show the importance and position of the electrical and electronics industry in Brazil.
