Women and Workplace The industrial revolution introduced women to the workplace. But what kind of work? The clerical, nominal, part-time and low-grade jobs. Also, the jobs that require cheap labor. And centuries after the situation is the same. The women are still not acceptable at the leading roles. Take a look at any leading industry, organization, or community you will see men holding an office of authority and position. Even the developed countries with great political histories lack women in offices’. Even the Oval office lack women representation.
Lack of women’s participation in politics
There is a glass ceiling that women can’t seem to go above. Even though the women have always proved to the world their power to lead and make this world a better place as compared to the men leaders. Just like the recent example of the Prime Minister of Newziland reaction to the Muslim massacre crisis at Christchurch proved that women are much more capable of handling and responding to the crisis situation with tolerance, compassion and by strong decision making. She proved the world leaders that they can learn from her response.
